Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. OMG! Thanks for posting…I’m lemming everything! I’ll have to make a trip to the U.S. soon as I’m certain Canadian counters won’t have anything in stock until nearly XMas!
    Happy Day, Lisa

  • JoElla

FUN!! but sadly nothing really grabs my eye. * I reserve the right to change my mind LOL*

  • Susan Lewis

I would suggest swatching these at the counter before buying. I’ve already been reading that sparkle eye shadow palette is all sparkle and no color. Bobbi doesn’t seem to make pigmented powder shadows in palettes much anymore. Sad because on the screen they look spectacular.

    • Nora

That may be true, Susan, about the sparkles, but have you ever tried her sparkle eyeshadows? Ooh, baby, they are amazing! My LE Black Velvet from last year is one of my most coveted makeup possessions. They must be applied with your fingers, though, or it really will be sparkly nothingness. Or layer them over something else.

  • Kat

OK! Which Nordies is it at in the NY area?? I’m feeling a little (cough cough) cold coming on and might have to leave work early (achoo aaaachhoooo) 🙂

  • Jess

The sparkle eye shadows are made with a translucent base, so they are more colored sparkle than anything. Usually you need to layer them over another color to get anything – same issue with the crystal eye palette earlier.

  • Suzanne

I’m liking the Party to Go and Classic to Go palettes. Nice little kit that is almost full face 🙂 The Classic to Go may be easier to wear than the Party to Go kit…

  • Nora

Oops. I called my counter to see when they would be getting this collection. “2 to 3 weeks.” Yikes! Now that I saw that Black Ruby (and am still regretting not snagging that beauty powder from Estee Lauder recently), I went ahead and ordered it off neimanmarcus.com (free shipping with “FALLSHIP”). I’m shameless for sparkle eye shadows.

  • KimmyDarling

I love that the To Gos have the mini lip glosses in them, because I never like when eyeshadow dust gets in my lip color!

I’m drooling for everything on this page.

  • Nora

Hi, Muse! I tried to email you a comment, but I couldn’t get the “Verify” business to work.

“Hi, Muse! I was just wondering if you ever accepted guest pictures/mini-reviews? I know we both love our Bobbi Brown and I’ve already ordered that Black Ruby sparkle palette. I should get it next week sometime. Would you like me to share some pictures when I get it?

    Thanks for all you do!”

    • the Muse

hey nora. yeah I’m having probs with the verify sorry.

I do indeed you can submit them using the email address I have listed on the contact form ;-D I look forward to seeing the palette!!!!!!

      THANK YOU! 🙂 <3!
