Bobbi Brown Marrakesh Chic Fall 2011 Collection Bobbi Brown Desert Plum Lip Color Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color Desert Rose Review, Swatches, Photos

If you’re seeking fabulous Fall lippie shades you might want to check out some of the ones released with the Bobbi Brown Marrakesh Chic Collection as there are a few rich, warm hues for the autumn season!

Let’s take a peek at Desert Rose and Desert Plum!

Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in Desert Rose contains an SPF 12 and sports a lightweight formula. This is a color saturated lipstick with plenty of pigmentation to make lips pop. This is a mauve, dusky pink. I can’t wear this full on but I like to sheer it on for a delicate, dusky shade of pink on my lips. When applied lightly it gives me a lovely MLBB (my lips but better) appearance. However, as I mentioned, I can’t wear it slicked on too thickly as the mauve is a bit too deathly on my lips! It’s actually worth a pick up if you wear it very lightly as it gives a very nice flush of pink on lips without looking too over done.

Bobbi Brown Lip Color in Desert Plum is a creamy-matte lipstick formula that offers full color payoff. This has a moisturizing, creamy finish and the shade is a deep, plummy red which on my lips comes across as a warm, rich brick red shade.

Both shades are available as part of the Bobbi Brown Marrakesh Chic Fall 2011 on counters and at bobbibrowncosmetics.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
