Dior Backstage Eyeliners-To-Wear Multi-Wear Adhesive Eyeliner Patches

No great secret that I suck at liquid lining!

Dior Backstage Eyeliners To Wear Multi Wear Adhesive Eyeliner Patches

I wish I had the natural flare for applying liquids so I could look as glam as Dita Von Teese does. I’ve desired the sophisticated, pin up girl cat eye look since high school when one of my friend’s, Angela, would wear it daily! She used to work it like no one’s business.

I can handle creating a line with a steady hand but it normally follows my upper lash line but when it comes to actually getting flashy on the outer corner, well, it’s a FAIL for me.

That’s why it’s absolutely essential I order the new Dior Backstage Eyeliners-To-Wear Multi-Wear Adhesive Eyeliner Patches.

Simple liquid lining effect?

Hells to the yes siree!

Dior Backstage Eyeliners-To-Wear Multi-Wear Adhesive Eyeliner Patches are available for a limited time, exclusively to Beauty Insiders at Sephora and Sephora.com.

These innovative eyeliner “patches” are ready to wear in minutes. Each sticker or transfer tattoo is available in a variety of designs some of which are bedecked with Swarovski crystals. The patches are supposedly easy to apply and designed to adapt every eye shape.

The set includes:

  • 4 Pairs of Eyeliner Patches: 2 black ones, 1 all pasted with anthracite grey crystals, and 1 black with white crystals
  • Glue

These are a little costly at $59 so I’m a little touch and go about my purchase as I’m not sure if you can reuse them. It would really be an expensive indulgence if I can’t reuse them.

Either way, I will be buying them as it’s just an innovation in beauty in my opinion and I hope to see more brands pick up on it because as I said, I’m a stinker at liquid lining, if I can do it with an easy to use patch, well, I’m on that.

What do you think?

I wanna try these, but I don’t think I’ll be able to open my eyes after putting them on. They look huge!!… and I have little Asian eyes… -_-

So excited for your review! I mess up my cat-eye often. If I manage not to mess it up the pics go on my blog because I’m so proud (even if the eye makeup is unremarkable). I’m a dork, sorries!

ditto sarah…I can do a straight line just fine but anything on the outer corner and I’m dead in the water!

I was checking out the Sephora site and it says they are reusable, like a set of lashes would be, just store them in the container.
If you do get them, please let us know how it goes! I’m on the same boat as lemurfry, doesn’t seem like it’d be easy to open your eyes.

I want to say I read that they are reusable. But probably in the way false lashes are in that they will get cruddy after a few times. Is it because they’re Dior that their that expensive. I think we might see some knock offs, they cant be that costly to make.

I was *totally* intrigued when I saw these on Sephora’s site yesterday, I can’t do a wing to save my life. But, the price made my jaw drop open. I can’t wrap my head around how they would be reusable either. If you get them, PLEASE review! I can’t wait to see!!!

The styles of the patches are awesome! Plus, they won’t smudge!

Muse, may I suggest a way to draw the eyeliner? With your eyes open, draw a horizontal (not diagonal) dash (not slash), beginning at the outer corner of your eye. Then, start lining the moving lid backwards, from the outer corner (the inner end of the dash), till it pleases you. If you line more than 1/5th of the moving eyelid, it’ s only then that you will see how to overlap your outer corner dash with some “mounting” line, which will converge with moving eyelid. I find the eyeliner is flattering when it converges with the eye-shape, not when it clashes diagonally.

I saw these modeled on a host on one of the morning TV shows. They looked AMAZING. I must say, it didn’t look like she could open her eyes up very wide – not sure if they were comfortable. But she did say they were re-usable. I’m waiting for a less expensive version – fingers crossed!
