Last year, I was absolutely overjoyed at the vintage book styling of the Kat Von D Holiday 2010 Collection. Combine books and makeup and I’m all over it.

However, I was an ickle disappointed with the with the Lipstick Set….this year…I’m excited for her new Tattoo Chronicles Candelabra Edition and Painted Love & Foiled Lipstick Set.

Awww I’m an ickle disappointed the lipsticks aren’t in the book packaging like last year! I’m loving hard on the shadow palette.

    Oooo love that eyeshadow palette! The colors, IMO, are a lot better than last year’s; but, it comes with less stuff so that’s a little disappointing.

    Love the book – the colors are great (particularly WTF LOL). I have Adora Foil Lipstick from when it first launched and it is the PERFECT RED – I thought I was going to look like a drag queen but somehow the foil works without looking overdone. I really LOVE that lippie.

    I am getting the lipstick set delivered TODAY! I’M SOOO EXCITED! The minute I saw this on Sephora I ordered it, I missed out on last years collection:( I’m excited that this features both painted love and foiled lipsticks. I’m eager to try the Adora color, it looks wonderful! I love her lipsticks and think this is a really good deal to get all six even though they are smaller, they’re perfect for travel and purse touchups.

    I’m a collector of the holiday sets, so I probably will end up getting both. I purchased the palette yesterday and it already shipped.

    I’m upset the lipsticks arent in a book. I was really looking forward to a volume two, but I imagine its hard to do when you constantly are discontinuing the lipsticks (I’ve been spending way too much money tracking them down).

    Those are new colors, if they have them in full size I’m going to skip this set or wait for the FF sale and buy the set. I think they should have done the set with all the foiled love lippies.

    Im disappointed all the holiday palette comes with is a mascara and a bunch of the shadows that are already in other palettes but I had to have it. I think it would have been better to have a mini lipstick, mini mascara and a mini primer and price it at 55 like last year

    Muse – I’m so excited!!! I have the Tattoo Chronicles from last year and I love it… I also bought the filled train case that was part of the holiday stuff… so I’m ANXIOUSLY waiting to hear what else will be coming out… Thanks for this, I will be buying it for sure!

    Ohhh, I’m loving the mini lipstick set! Because I rarely ever go through a whole tube of lipstick so it’s nice to have options. I’ve heard so much about Adora. But I do wish this included F.T.W., which I read is a nice color.

    Ugh I love the Kat Von D line so much. Will definitely be getting the Candelabra Palette! I am glad that they got rid of the fake eyelashes and the primer to add 4 more shadows this year.
