Let’s take a look!
A box of popping blush!
Just like Benefit’s Boxed Blushes, MeMeMe Blush Me! comes housed in a sturdy cardboard box. The inside lid contains a mirror and a flat top brush is also included (just like Benefit’s version) for application. Of course, the difference here is the price. MeMeMe Blush Me! Blushes are a mere $13 and change which is nearly 50% less than Benefit’s version! Sweet budget price eh?
The blushes are quite pigmented with a nice silky formula that has a satiny finish. They wear quite nicely and build easily for a sheer flush of color to a popping color pay off. I find the colors wear quite well throughout the day without a touch up necessary well into the 7th to 8th hour of wear time. These blend easily as well so no clown cheeks to contend with.
I tried two of the three shades which were Rouge and Coral. Although both look the same in my swatches they are slightly different on cheeks. Coral is a warm, peachy coral versus Rouge which is a dirty pinky peach.
Although both of these have gorgeous pigmentation I didn’t feel they were exact dupe sfor any of Benefit’s boxed blushes. In particularly, you might want to compare them to Coralista or Bella Bamba however I found Benefit’s color versions have more vibrancy and a touch of a glow-y finish versus MeMeMe’s version which have a duller, less than glow-y finish. This isn’t a bad thing in the least, merely an observation and comparison of the formulas.
Sadly, MeMeMe is sold within the UK only so it’s not something you’ll find in the US. I got these from a friend who lives in England however you might want to check E-bay as I’ve seen sellers with MeMeMe products available for a few bucks more than retail or perhaps if you have a friend or virtual friend who can CP them for you!
- Anyone looking for a Benefit Coralista or Bella Bamba dupe (the colors are as vibrant however the price is VERY appealing here and the formula is excellent).
- Anyone who loves pigmented blushes.
- Anyone who likes warm shades of coral and peach.
- Anyone unwilling to do a little online shopping sleuthing (these aren’t available in the US so a little online adventuring is needed to locate these).
These do get a very hearty Muse Approval from me. I really liked these. The price is just right, the pigmentation is excellent, and overall the blushes perform very, very well! I just wish MeMeMe’s website would start shipping to the US like Sleek Makeup does so everyone can take advantage of these cute little budget blushes.
Granted, they aren’t Benefit but they do come mighty close!
UK’ers def grab these ones!
