About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hm, vanilla and jasmine don’t really make me think “cozy” but I guess they’re trying something new besides cinnamon, apple, cloves, etc.

There is nothing as revolting to me than the smell of vanilla, yuck ! I much prefer a soft floral scent to my body lotions.

Yuck!! I saw cozy and christmas and thought “yay a fireside kind of scent ” but alas its just as sweet and gourmand as their other scents. And i hate vanilla too. I do not like smelling like food. 🙁

Christina isn’t with Philosophy anymore right? This kind seems anti Philosophy. I think that with the oils and butters, the scents smell off after a few months. I’m sticking with their fragrances, but haven’t been buying their shower gels :/

I remember her saying a while back on qvc, that she was no longer with philosophy, but would make some appearances to talk about the products she believed in. I love Christina, I don’t like some of the recent philosophy products. I remember eternal grace came out, on qvc she flat out said, “I wouldn’t wear this” (!!!) and looked disgusted and disappointed! I like summer grace, I wonder if divine is any good and if she is asked her opinion still!
