Revlon Concealer Brush Review Not the Answer to the Ultimate Question or the Silence that Will Fall When The Question Is Asked

You ever want to try something just for the sake of trying it? I really love my E.L.F. Studio Concealer Brush. It changed my concealing life….! I never used a brush for concealer application but after discovering it I can’t think of my concealer life without it.

Recently I decided I’d indulge in a smaller Revlon Concealer Brush…it was five bucks and I was just feeling lucky…perhaps it would be just as amazing as the E.L.F. Studio Concealer Brush.

Jump!

Well…

The answer to life, the universe, and concealer still remains with E.L.F. because Revlon’s Concealer Brush doesn’t cut it. This small handled brush seemed like a handy travel partner but the smaller size is actually the down fall here. I find the brush handle an ickle to small…where as the brush size should give you more precise control over it, it simply ends up causing me to have less control over application instead of more.

Plus I find the brush head an ickle too soft, a little density would be nice here. After a single use I also experienced shedding…

Moral of the story?

Don’t fix it, if it isn’t broken.

I’ll stick with my cheapy E.L.F. brush thanks very much.

Revlon’s Concealer Brush stinks.

In other news…

The Silence will fall on Saturday, are you ready?

Silence will fall when the question is asked….being that “the Question” is the oldest question, the very first question of the universe….I suspect the answer will be 42.

*nods*

Yup, that’s my theory and I’m sticking to it!

I actually use the elf bled ing eye brush from the mineral line to blend out my congealer once it’s been placed properly. It does an amazing job without leaving messy brush strokes.

what happened to the sephora airbrush concealer brush? i thought that was even better than the elf one! you got me hooked on the whole set of ’em! lol

I seen their lip brush with a cap, kinda oogling it. Don’t really have any potted lip products but never know when you could use a lip brush with a cap right?!!! I’ve tried the dollar elf brushes they were ok and are a great option if you can’t afford better. I bought some ecotool brushes and gah I started singing “this is love, do do do do…this is why they call it looove” when I first used them (and I always thought they looked cheap because of the ferrule being a dull metal that seemed plastic-y). I wish they’d come up with a lip brush set and make my brush life complete! Oh, have you tried their stipple brush? I was interested in it (I have one from face secrets that I got at sally’s it’s really good) but it only came in a set that was like 16 dollars and the only brush I wanted was that.

I have a smashbox concealor brush, a Paula Dorf taklon concealor brush (use it mainly for primer on my lids), and I expect to get a Tarte concealor brush in the next installment of one of the AD’s I have.

Most of the time I don’t use a brush, I used my ring finger and pat on the concealor and then I bounce over it wtih a damp beauty blender sponge.

Really bad that this one sheds too, nothing is more irritating than a stray hair from a brush poking you in the eyelash or worse.
