bareMinerals Putting On the Glitz for Holiday 2011

Do your parents or grandparents go into those major speeches about how when they were little they’d walk to school in six feet of snow without any shoes on and school was 25 miles away….

Do you have family like that?

My dad happens to be a great story teller and he has a dozen stories that involve walking to school in the snow, without any shoes on, while carrying his weight in books.

The reason I’m telling you this is because I probably sound like him when it comes to makeup. Remember when BE used to have glamorous Holiday Collections?

Remember the Classic Rock Collection? How about the Bare Gold Collection or the Pure Platinum one?

Those were the days….

Jump!

Well it isn’t as glam as past sets I own but you might want to check out the bareMinerals Putting On the Glitz for Holiday 2011 if you love yourself some BE.

This glistening 11 piece collection is $54 and available exclusively at Sephora and Sephora.com

Includes:

  • Pretty Amazing Lipgloss in Perky (warm rose)
  • Prime Time Primer Shadow in Toasted Almond (iced coffee)
  • Eyecolor in Glamtastic (warm champagne luster)
  • Eyecolor in Glitz (smoky plum sparkle)
  • Round The Clock Waterproof Eyeliner in 5 pm (deep plum)
  • Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara in Black
  • Blush in Gorgeous (petunia pink)
  • All-Over Face Color in Luxe Radiance (apricot pink)
  • Double-Ended Luxe Cheek & Eye Brush
  • Sparkling clutch

Whatcha think?

It’s not as glam as collections past but BE fans will probably love this one…Plus, hey, I can probably get on board here too and doesn’t require me to walk anywhere without shoes on! Phew!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Hmmmm….I like this, a LOT actually, but unless I’m going insane (which is entirely possible) I think there’s supposed to be a BE TSV on QVC around November right? Might need to wait until I know what that is and then just pick up the one I like best. ^_^

Nice. I”m not a big fan of the Pretty Amazing lip colors but I may check it out.

Only BE thing I am looking forward to are the pressed eyeshadows. Other stuff is meh, I still have my gold mineral veil that I love and want to finish before I get a new one.

My parents are full of those stories. My favourite was being told whenever I asked if I could watch tv ‘when I was your age we had to make our own fun ‘.

I like the look of the sparkly bag that comes with the kit

I got this for my surrogate adopted teenaged daughter. She needs eyeliner, mascara and blush, and she loves BE, so . . . 😎 Got it 20% off, too. If she doesn’t like it, we’ll return and pick something else, but I wanted the discount so I got it now.

Love being able to find these things on your site. Thank you!
