Bobbi Brown Party To Go Palette Swatches

I like little makeup bits and bobs.

I remember when I got my hands on the Laneige Darling Big Eyes Palette, I nearly had a coronary over the kawainess of it all.

Bobbi brings the party in her new ickle little Party To Go Palette. It’s itty bitty small and contains three eyeshadows, two lipsticks, and a lipgloss. Awww!

Small beauty=muy bueno!

Jump!

This little guy is one of two new To Go Palettes that Bobbi Brown has available for Holiday 2011.

This palette contains a mini Midnight Violet High Shimmer Lipgloss, Metallic Lipsticks in Pretty Pink & Plum, plus three eyeshadows in Rockstar, Eggplant, and Charcoal.

I’ll have a review up shortly but here are a few pictures and swatches!

This is available now for $25 at Bobbi Brown counters or online at www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com

Curious minds, are you hauling?

    Hi Muse,

I was looking for this little gem at BB counters but they are not available as of 2 days ago. Have you seen it in store?

How do you find the gloss? Will it be too dark? Everything else looks divine! 🙂

    • the Muse

hey suzanne! this is a press sample but I did see it at both my Neiman Marcus and my Nordstrom counters hun! are you in NY? If not you can order it at Nordstrom with Free Shipping and free return shipping if you hate it.

Gloss is pretty vampy! It’s like dark blackish purple crimson <—ha that's alot to take on! I'm still trying to pull it off in all honest but I think if I apply and sheer out with clear gloss I might be golden! I did find the shadows an ickle difficult to work with as they are very pigmented and the darker colors make my eyes look bruised ;-D but I'm still testing/playing ;-D!

Are you planning on any other hauls from BB Holiday? I ordered the Ruby Sparkle from Nordstrom last night, can't wait to get it!

        Hi Muse,

I am out in California. Went to my local BB counter in Macy’s and they only had the Classic to Go palette. I went to Nordstrom online and also only saw the Classic to Go palette. Maybe I can go check out my local Nordstrom BB counter and see if I have any luck.

Isn’t this color palette a bit similar to BB’s fall collection from last year? They looked gorgeous but I was afraid I can’t pull it off.

The Black Ruby Sparkle palette looks so pretty too! That is potentially on my list 🙂 I think you are really going to love it 🙂 Can’t wait till you can review it and show us some pictures 🙂

i must be all kinds of crazy Suzanne I could have sworn nordies had it online! Sorry! :-/ Call before you go, no sense wasting a trip ;-D they sometimes also call other places for it and have it shipped in! yes, very much so. The shades feel a bit matte to me as well. I’m testing it right now and I’m kinda on the fence if I can actually pull it off ;-D My eyes are aging now and darker shades like this are a bit TOO much.

they shipped it today ;-D so review soon promise! did you see the ultimate palette? It’s so tiny compared to year’s past!

Where in CA are you? I live in the bay area and I can tell you where I’ve seen it already 🙂

          • Suzanne

I’m around the Campbell/Santa Clara area. If you’ve seen this palette, please do share! 🙂

        • Tammie

Perfect! I’m in that area too (work in Santa Clara, live by SJ Airport)! I saw the Bobby Brown holiday setup at the Macy’s in Oakridge, and the Nordstrom at Valley Fair :).

Ooh, not a bad little collection of stuff. What I really want is that lipgloss! Been feeling the vampy lip colors lately. Very tough to wear out in public (waaaay too high maintenance), but sooo pretty with a simple eye.

  • kiwikiwidragon

Ok, it’s officially a sickness, I just ordered both $25 sets.

  • shusheshe

I saw these at the department store counters…it looked TINY! It’s like they shrunk all the sizes of all the palettes this year compared with last year!

  • Ivy

My mom just ordered me the natural one yesterday as a random surprise! Best college care package EVER.

  • Sasha

Hi Muse! Where in NYC are these adorable palettes available? Have you seen them at the Bloomingdales on Broadway? Thanks! xxx

    • the Muse

Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom in White Plains Sasha. Havne’t been to bloomies in a bit……can’t confirm if they are there yet. Also online at Bobbi Brown’s website.

  • Marie

Good morning Muse, thank you for your review!!
I have just ordered the palette here in Germany and I cannot wait to hold it in my hands. The collection of colours look like Bobbi made them for me 🙂 I am still not sure about the exact size… hope it is not too small, as the price is so good this time. Normally Bobbi’s palettes are much more expensive over here.

PS. I love your blog so much and I often visit you.

This is another palette one needs to layer. Cover your lid with Rockstar (silver) and then place a second layer, starting at the outer corner for a gradient effect, of the Eggplant Sparkle. You can layer the inner portion of your lid a lot more lightly if you find it too dark. Another thing… these colors “settle” and mute out a bit after 10 minutes or so. They don’t continue to fade, though. With a primer you’re good for the evening!
