I generally enjoy Josie Maran Argan Color Sticks as they have such a moisturizing, dewy finish. Don’t get me wrong Tarte rocks too but Josie somehow created a color stick that feels amazing and has such an easy glide.
This set is $36 and includes five mini color sticks in the following shades:
- Argan Color Stick in Clear
- Argan Color Stick in Rosey (rosy mauve shade)
- Argan Color Stick in Glow, (sheer, shimmering pink shade)
- Argan Color Stick in Pixie Dust (golden pearl shade)
- Argan Color Stick in Go Glam (golden apricot shade)
I’m ordering this one for myself and my sis who happens to be a true believer in color stick anything (girl won’t use powder evahs!).

I admit that I am horrible with all things liquid and cream form (cream blush, liquid liner, etc), however I love this Color Stick! I just purchased “Petal Pink” from Sephora the other day after reading such great reviews and I must agree with the hype. I’m a pretty oily chick and this does not cause any added oil, but gives a nice touch of glowy pink to my cheeks (NC30 here). I also have trouble with blushes magnifying my pores and I find that the Color Sticks do not do that at all – hallelujah! That being said, I do have to have a light touch when applying and I find it easier to dab it on my finger and then apply it to my cheeks.I also played around with the shade “Rosey” which is also a beautiful color but opted for Petal Pink because I felt it added a bit more glow to my complexion. I think both shades would compliment many skin tones, though! I also impulsively purchased a small bottle of Argon Oil, too…needless to say, I will most likely be going back for the larger size – love it! Thanks for sharing the QVC news – I may have to check this set out – these colors definitely have my attention!

Call me stupid, but why make color stick in clear? As a base?
It’s for using on rough elbows, knees, patchy areas on your face, etc…it’s a moisturizing stick.
I want these mini beauties….so tempting!
