Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre Shimmering Top Coat Review, Swatches, Photos

If you have Lorac’s 3D Liquid Lustre Shimmering Top Coat in your stash it’s time for hauling it out for all your Holiday looks. I inject shimmer into all my looks but particularly around the holidays as it’s just festive to have a gorgeous, shimmery eye look to go to parties and gatherings with.

This is a simple way to add a little shimmer into your life.

Jump!

This is a shimmering top coat to be applied over eyeshadows or you can use alone on your lids, cheeks, or face for a bit of sparkle.

The product comes housed in a tiny glass vial with a small dropper for application to use it you’ll want to shake it up as it’s a dual phase formula that separates easily. Once shaken you can apply a tiny drop to your hand and pat gently onto your lid. I normally finish my eye look with this as I apply my mascara, eyeliner, shadow, etc…prior and proceed to pat a little of this in place for a sparkly finish. Although the formula is wet to the touch it doesn’t smear my shadow and adds a healthy dose of sparkle to any shade I am wearing. I particularly love it for spicing up mattes as I’m not a huge fan of the finish and this easily adds just the right amount of sparkle to them! The shade is a soft white gold so it actually looks quite lovely on its own with a bit of eyeliner in place.

Although runny in texture it still blends easily and creates a beautiful, high sparkle finish.

With the Holidays soon upon us this is a fabulous little way to spice up your eyeshadow looks! Particularly those boring matte shades.

I love this!! Got it a few months ago and was uber impressed with it. Great price since all you need a tiny schmear.

I like it too. Love you only need a tiny bit and absolutely adore you can create a really pretty no nonsense nude eye with it and a little liner ;-D!

I love this stuff! I’ve had it since spring but the dropper stopped working, argh. I’m going to buy a new bottle for the holidays soon <3

I LOVE this stuff! I usually use it with a plain peach shadow and a thick winged liner, then dab it all over my lid and “blend” it into my crease with a clean finger. It’s so sparkly and pretty!!

I’ve seen people use it UNDER their eyeshadows. It adds gorgeous shimmer without lightening the shade of the eyeshadow much. If anything, it intensifies it! I need to pick this one up! <3

This stuff is the tits. I haven’t picked it up yet, since I got something similar from VS last year. Eye shimmer or something? it’s a cream instead of a liquid and silvery instead of gold. So, similar concept, different product. Not sure I need two, but my VS one is getting a little thick/dry so I might have to splurge on the Lorac one before too much longer….

Thanks for the swatch! Forgot how awesome it was in the store. :p

Hmm…that’s really pretty! Is it anything like Pop’s Sparkle Sauce, if you’ve tried that? I nabbed that pretty cheaply off of BeautyTicket, but I’ve actually only used it to foil some of my baked shadows so far, haha.

I’m not a huge matte wearer myself, I do find that using UDPP in Sin or Greed seems to take them up to about a satin finish.

I need to try it under an eyeshadow….I adore this but it changes the color of some shadows 🙁 I put it over a black shadow and it looked blue after I put it on top!
