L’Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Review
I never learn when it comes to these L’Oreal Mascaras. They look so amazing in promo images and they sound like my dream come true…
But in the end, they almost always, end up a FAIL.
L’Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes another over priced rubbish mascara.

Waterproof fiber formula mascara to lift lashes and create a fuller look!
I was under the impression this was a tubing mascara…fiber=tube…but the formula is drier and does not contain tubes of any kind which is a good thing as I normally dislike fiber mascaras since I feel like I have a lash or two in my eyes when I wear them.
I like the drier formula since some drugstore mascaras are a bit too wet which results in a spidery look. Formula is lightweight as well and doesn’t make lashes stiff or crunchy. The applicator is a straight brush with a very slight curve that has a little give so you can pull lashes up and out with a little wriggle while you apply. I like the brush well enough since it manages to capture all my lashes in a single go. Although it’s straight it still manages to get a hold of all my lashes even the smaller ones in the inner corner of my eye.
Overall, it proves disappointing…although it gives decent length it makes my lashes stick out straight without an ounce of curl, volume is non existent here as well.
Supposedly it coats lashes with fiber but I didn’t notice tubes or fiber of any kind so don’t go into a purchase expecting a traditional tube mascara formula.
Surprising for me was the flaking I experienced as I have tried alot of mascaras in my day and I never had issues with flaking but within hours of wear I noticed it was flaking off and leaving trails of mascaras under my eyes.
- No one!
- Those wanting volume, length, and curl (delivers on length but it manages to create an unflattering stick straight lash look while doing nothing as far as volume and curl it doesn’t cut it either here).
- Anyone with oily lids (it flakes on me and my eyes are drier so I imagine it’ll create smudge-y flakes if you’re oily).
- Those wanting a traditional tubing mascara (this isn’t really a fiber mascara formula like I’ve ever tried before).
L’Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes is a one trick pony that promises to perform several functions that it never actually succeeds at. It may offer some very nice length but the end result is simply stick straight lashes that have no curl. As with most drugstore mascaras, this one promises great lashes and delivers rubbish results. The price of $9.99 is also absurd considering for a few more dollars you can get a higher end mascara that actually works.
Garbage as far as I’m concerned.
Don’t waste your money.
