Posts From October 2011
I can’t start a review of Clean Skin Eau de Parfum without reliving my geeky childhood. Remember Stand by Me? My friend Christina and I were obsessed with that movie so much so we greeted each other with the very corny, “Gimme some skin” quote handshake unquote.
Let’s not forget that my crush at the time was Casey Siemaszko, dood, what the hell even happened to him? Can we haz a Casey Siemaszko where is he now VH1 Special?
According to his IMDb he’s been quite busy…ha who knew?
Speaking of skin…
Clean Skin Eau de Parfum is the newest fragrance added to the Clean family.
Let’s take a look!
If you’re on a bit of a budget Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics has updated their catalog with their new Baked Powder Eyeshadow Collection and new Eyeshadow Palettes.

Mmm Lush doesn’t have a slew of wrapped gifts this year and only one $60 Hatbox! Eep! I normally like hauling the big one for $100 and getting some of everything from the Christmas Collection, how sad…! Hopefully new introductions will be made as the Holiday draws closer.
Take a look!
I don’t have images to share as of yet for the Bare Escentuals Holiday 2011 Collection but I do have a full, detailed list of what will be available.

I haven’t been following the Lush UK Forum but I know they are partying down on October 5th…I had thought this would be when they launch Lush Christmas Holiday 2011….however, they have announced it already both on the UK and NA site…since I haven’t been tracking the going ons maybe this means they’ll have some special Halloween goodies available during the forum party? As it seems Lush has skipped right over Halloween this year…
How about Lush Holiday 2011 for now?
I happen to be in full azz zombie mode at the moment..It’s October, it’s Halloween, it’s time for zombies!

Do your parents or grandparents go into those major speeches about how when they were little they’d walk to school in six feet of snow without any shoes on and school was 25 miles away….
Do you have family like that?
My dad happens to be a great story teller and he has a dozen stories that involve walking to school in the snow, without any shoes on, while carrying his weight in books.
The reason I’m telling you this is because I probably sound like him when it comes to makeup. Remember when BE used to have glamorous Holiday Collections?
Remember the Classic Rock Collection? How about the Bare Gold Collection or the Pure Platinum one?
Those were the days….
Ahh it sure has been a while since I hauled one of Bare Escentuals Brightening Mineral Veils.
I remember the first one I purchased, can’t remember the actual name but it was a pink shimmer…we all know how I feel about shimmer.
For Holiday 2011, the new bareMinerals Brightening Pearl Mineral Veil is infused with genuine Honora Cultured pearls and coasts a pearlescent glow on skin.
The powder comes in a pink pearl, mirroed compact with a Buff & Go Brush for application.
Available now at Ulta.
I dunno ’bout you but I’m crazy about makeup. As if MusingsofaMuse.com isn’t testimony to all that crazy…
That’s why I’m currently in absolute lust with the Avon Cosmetic Ornaments.
It may be too early to deck my tree but damn straight these cute ornaments will grace it when it goes up this year.
