My Rimmel London HD Union Jack Eyeshadow Palettes that I ordered from ASOS have popped into my mailbox this week and they are amazing, way better than I expected.
I haven’t swatched, played with, or tried them yet but I thought you’d like to see some sneaky peek images.
Take a look!
Let me tell ya, Pan Am, is all about the visual candy because the substance of the drama is so snoring boring…..
I thought this was the break out hit for Fall…? What the hell happened? Seriously, if it wasn’t for the clothes, hair, makeup, and accessories I’d have deleted it from my Tivo three episodes ago.
Gimme zombies and haunted houses, forget 60’s glam….!
Speaking of retro Stewardess’…Attention Please, a brand I recently introduced you too, seems to be doing some pimping for Pan Am as their packaging gathers up the retro vibe of travel days gone by.
Let’s take a look at Attention Please Make Base Cream and see if it offers anything better than the Pan Am TV show does. Yawn.
Over the weekend, I was willing to try out something new….
Imma tell you about what my mates deem a culinary delight, that’d be chocolate covered bacon. My friend Libs is here visiting from London to celebrate our best friend’s birthday and she brought chocolate covered bacon along with her for the trip. Damn you British people are strange folk (kiddin’).
I’m not much for bacon so dipping it into chocolate isn’t going to really win me over here. Seriously, chocolate covered bacon is all kinds of disgusting, no matter how much Libby will preach the bible about it to ya. Of course, she won over everyone but me with it…*shrug*
If you absolutely need to try it for yourself, you can get the non-British variety at Marini’s Candies who sells it in a gift box for $12.95 because pieces of fried pig fat look fancier when it’s in a gold gift box and covered with chocolate. Yay!
In the spirit of trying new things I picked up Pur Minerals Natural Knockout Set, ya know, because I needed to wash the taste of chocolate bacon out of my mouth….
This info isn’t confirmed as of yet but you can visit www.sephora.com/friends and hopefully updated info will become available soon!
Thanks to my reader chibi today for giving us early deets on the Sephora Friends and Family 2011 Event.
The offer kinda sorta makes me cry this year as it’s a one time use code you can use. Where as in the past Sephora offered a universal code (ie FF2010, FF2009, etc..) this year you have to visit the site between October 20th thru November 2nd for a one time use code.
In years past I’d do an order for myself followed up by an order for Friends and Family. And heck sometimes I’d do a third order if something popped up that I wanted or something I forgot in my first order, etc….limiting me to a single code is going to really kill my joy.
Chibi also shares that the in store event will not be via coupon. Instead a photo ID and your physical BI card will have to brought to the store to get the discount.
