Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen Taster Trio Review, Swatches, Photos

I love a good deal on makeup. There’s nothing as satisfying as finding a good sale on makeup, I’d say it’s comparable to winning the lottery.

Makeup junkies get it.

You won’t believe me when I tell you the price on the new Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen Taster Trio.

Jump!

This tasty little trio of mini Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pencils is a mere $12. Yup, all three, all yours, $12 bucks.

Score!

Pixi needs to consider revamping this set next year, tacking on a few bucks, and gifting us with more shades because you seriously won’t believe the brilliant formula at this price.

I’m always a little bit wary of eyeliners that come in a set. Let’s face it, sometimes, well, they suck because the formula is so hard and tugs during application.

Not the case with these little gems. They have a super soft, creamy formula that glides on easily sans skipping, tugging, or drama of any kind. The formula is easy to smudge as well.

The set includes mini pencils in:

  • BlackNoir (intense black)
  • BlackTulip (deep lilac)
  • BlackCocoa (deep brown)

Peeps, you know that Urban Perversion 24/7 Eyeliner is a gift from the makeup gods right? Well, let me tell ya, the Pixi Silky Eyeliner in BlackNoir is right on par with Perversion. It’s a super intense shade of black.

I have drier eyes so I didn’t have problems with these smudging, fading, or migrating. They wore about four hours straight on my waterline before showing some minor wear. The only problem I foresee would be the formula could prove an ickle too emollient for those with oily lids. You might find that on oily lids the formula may indeed smudge a bit and create a little raccoon drama…I’m merely speculating though as I don’t have an oily eye area.

Final word?

LOVES them hard.

You need to pick them up.

A super budget pick for the Holidays.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. aww. i am always on the hunt for a black eyeliner (a girl can never have too much of that!) but i have oily lids so im quite skeptical about these now 🙁

I love these eyeliners! they’re some of my favorites 🙂
Blue Black is particularly lovely & is more purple than blue. I use deep plum almost everyday.
I have oily lids and they last well into the evening for me :]

Wow, I’m in shock over the price. Is it too much to hope that Petra Strand continues this trend with her other products? I love the Pixi line but it’s so darn overpriced. One can dream!

OMG. The black one looks like liquid black…something…that’s an intense black liquid! I must have.

I’ve only recently discovered Pixi (Gotta love TK Maxx!) and am absolutely loving the brand, I just wish we got all their things here in the UK!
