Sula Blush Review, Swatches, Photos

Sula Blush doing me proud today.

At $8 ($6.50 on sale now at Ulta.com) who would have thought you’d get this much pigment? Think bolder, richer, and more vibrant than a NARS Blush.

True story peeps!

Sula recently extended its rather tiny makeup collection to include a few new color options all for the low price of $8 each.

I’m kinda in lust with the blusher at the moment as I hauled Girl Next Door recently at Ulta because it reminded me of one of my favorite Bobbi Brown shades, but turns out, it’s way brighter.

The shade is a bright, super pigmented shade of apricot pink. I was shocked at the color pay off on this one small blush! Formula is quite a nice silky blend but you do have to practice a little caution during application since the bright nature of the product could result in patchy application. Remember to tap off excess powder to get the best finish and results.

Outside of the formula you also get the joys of rather cute packaging from Sula with a white compact featuring a sweet floral motiff.

Honestly, pigmentation is definitely on par with NARS Blushes which are nearly triple the price.

Problem?

Only four shades to choose from.

Sula…cash in girl…give them variety and they will come.

Likey lots.

This one is Muse Approved for purchased.

Available at Ulta and Ulta.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Wow! What a gorgeous color! Thanks for showing us this Muse! I have never even heard of Sula prior to reading this review.

I do have a couple of questions though if you don’t mind. What country is this blush made in? And…is this blush very shimmery? I love bright colors but not a big fan of shimmer.

hi maggie my pleasure! It’s made in Canada and nope not too shimmery at all, any shimmer in the blush blends away easily.
