Hi Ms. Muse! I was just checking out Sephora and I’m totally stealing Tokidoki’s keychain and kaiten zushi mirror. (For $4 and $12 respectively, they’re finally going to be mine!) Also, Philosophy’s Supernatural Coloring Book is $12… I read your review and it seems nice, but I don’t know if it’ll complement my awkward Filipina skin (it can’t make up its mind whether it wants to be Asian or Pacific Islander-ish). Anyway, let us haul away!!!!

I originally put the HK set in my cart but after seeing how small the brushes were in videos, I took it out. I’m still not sure what I want.

Are the Fusion balms back up? I checked back when the huge markdown was mentioned and they were fresh out. I quite like them, waxy flavor aside, and wouldn’t mind a few more.

Balls. Just checked and all they had in stock was clear. :( I was hoping for Bitten and Buff. Ah well. I heard a rumor the Sephora in JCP stock would be marked down to 80% off at some point….maybe I’ll score there.

I just tried to checkout at Sephora and there was a technical gltch and my order did not go through. Then I couldn’t get back in – must be a lot of volume on the site right now :-(

I hope when I try to purchase again that the site doesn’t think I tried to use my code twice. Was going to get the Philosophy Spring Has Sprung set, Exfoliakate, and the Urban Decay 24/7 shadow pencil set.

I just called Sephora because I had a feeling that even though my bank account had been charged, my order had not gone through at Sephora. I was correct. Now the Philosophy set has sold out. She said I could replace the order, but that would mean there would be two charges on my bank account, until the first one cleared (up to 7 days). So, that sucks. She also said that they were experiencing problems with EVERYONE”S orders, although I don’t know what that means. I will wait a week and then order.

Note to self: Do not try to shop the first day of the F&F sale in the future.

Holy cow, it’s about 1:00 Central time and Sephora’s website is totally overloaded. This, my friends, is EXACTLY why they tell everyone that F&F is canceled (or only for actual friends and family)–all of that anger and outrage and disappointment gets people so worked up that when we find out we will be able to get 20% off after all, it feels like winning the lottery, and we end up buying more than we would have if it were just another annual sale on the calendar. Sephora is a marketing genius! :)

I’m thinking of getting the Sephora Favorites Lashstash. I like the idea of being able to try many types of mascara, and the small size is good for me because it’s less to waste (don’t often finish a mascara within 3 months). However, I don’t know how many are waterproof… I have stubby, straight Asian lashes.

Does anyone have thoughts on this? Is it worth it?
    I’ve never tried these mascaras.
