Jordana Easyshine Glossy Lip Color Review, Swatches, Photos

Loved Revlon Lip Butters but felt they were a little too heavy for you? Wanted them to be slicker? Glossier? I thought they were perfect but I know a few folks felt they were an ickle heavy plus you wanted more shine.

No worries, I have the cheapest, lightest, glossiest tints in my greedy little hands today and they are so great you’re going to want to haul every single shade!

Check ’em!

Jordana Easyshine Glossy Lip Colors are simple glossy, lip tints with a subtle hint of flavor. The joy of the product is the formula but the real value is the $1.99 price tag. Who would think you could snag such an incredibly formulated lip tint at such a value price?

Tints come in a simple swivel tube that’s small and portable. The formula on these is slick, glossy, and beautifully shiny with a hint of tint. They glide easily over lips (even the driest lips) and leave behind a subtle hint of beautiful MLBB (my lips but better) color and a lightweight, glossy finish. I love how buttery smooth these are! They have a super emollient texture but still manage to feel like you have nothing on your lips at all. Some colors have better pay off than others and offer not only a glossy lip look but one with plenty of color too.

Jordana offers them in sixteen different shades with various finishes and as I mentioned above, each is a mere $1.99.

Colors I tried:

  • Sugar Plum: A rich, creamy berry wine.
  • Sweet Strawberry: A perfect strawberry red with lovely color pay off.
  • Sugar Cookie: A reddish brown.
  • Berry Colada: A dusky berry pink.

The tints are delicately scented and flavored like fruity berries but nothing too dramatic or too bold. They did have one minor issue which was the fact they don’t swivel all the way down and I kept bumping the cap against them and squashing the tip each time I slipped it back into place. Since the formula is so soft and creamy it’s easy to take huge slices out of the tint with the cap which proves challenging to get on with that much product swiveled up.

But overall, I gotta say, YOU NEED these.

They are awesome! The buttery smooth feel, the shiny, glossy finish, the lovely tint of color that builds easy for more pop, and the super cheap price tag make them a must have for your makeup bag.

DO try them your next trip to Walgreens or buy them online at www.jordanacosmetics.com

I’ve almost bought these a time or two but put them back because I wasn’t sure the quality would be very good, nice to hear!

Have you tried to apply it on dry lips? Does it sink in or just sits on top making it a gooey mess? The body shop tinted lip balms did just that! 🙁

Oopss I think I need to sleep. It’s almost 1a.m. Here. Wow if these are THAT good….. Cherry culture here I come! Thanks muse.

I picked up the strawberry on a whim and it is the perfect everyday, no fuss red. i couldn’t believe that after so much searching…it was right there at Walgreens and super-cheap! Love these, too.

I love the quality and price of Jordana products, but I’ve not seen these lil beauties yet. I am def on the hunt now!
You sort of mentioned it, but how do these stack up against the other products in this category? In other words, which one is the best in your opinion between the tinted balms by Revlon, Maybelline, Jordana, and Hard Candy? I’m curious what you would pick since everybody and their mother is coming out with something like this.
    Thanks Muse!

hard to compare chel as they are all really different products in my humblest. I mentioned how revlon’s were heavier….maybelline doesn’t have a lip butter/balm that I know about outside of those really bad Pop Sensationals. And Hard Candy is a balm not a lip tint 🙂 Hope this makes sense?

i would love to find a walgreens that carries the whole Jordana line instead of just a few pieces. It’s such a tease. Mine only has 6-8 shades to choose from. Cherry Culture or the Jordana website has the whole line.

They look nice, but I think I’ll stick to my Korres Lip butters, been eyeing the squeeze tubes.

  • Kim

I have several of these Muse & I really like them a lot, very moisturizing as well.

  • CucumPear

I randomly ordered three of these not too long ago and I loooove them. Especially Grape-Tini, it’s the most wearable purple I’ve found (I tend to look awful with purple lips).
They all feel great and have just the right amount of glossiness, some are a bit more pigmented than I expected. But I agree on the not-swivelling thing, it’s so annoying! Nobody can pull the cap off straightly all the time.

  • Quinctia

Bought one of these last night in Sugar Cookie and I really like it! I can’t find the Revlon lip butters anywhere, so I couldn’t take advantage of the coupons/sales this week…and this is about what I wanted from those + nice scent + $2 price tag. Very happy.

I picked up a few of these a while ago, and they are fab! The darker colors especially are very pigmented. Tried any of their blushes? Pick up “Redwood”, I think you’ll love it! For your readers, Kmart carries the full line of Jordana.

  • Jenn

Picked up a few of these…holy pigmentation batman! Was not expecting that for 2 dollars.

  • BooBooNinja

    Thanks for reviewing these, Isabella.
There has been so much fanfare over the Lip Butters, and this is the first I’ve heard of the Jordana “equivalent”.

Would you say there is a dupe for MAC Sweetie in the line?
I’m not a lip colour girl, but for some reason I’ve fallen in love with MAC Sweetie. It comes across as a beautiful medium, slightly purplish pink on me. As it would be my first foray into the lipstick world, I’d like to not have to spend MAC prices. (Just in case I don’t end up wearing it…)

  • Nikki

How long do these last on the lips compared to the lip butters? I love the two revlon lip butters I have but if I can get a similar quality product for much cheaper that would be awesome!!

    • the Muse

less pigmented nikki, more glossy, lighter texture. revlon lip butters are more pigmented, balmy texture, not as shiny/glossy.

  • Nikki

Oh, and you need to try jordana’s volumizing extreme mascara! It works great and it’s only 2.99!!

  • SJG

Had to search for a review on these. I picked Sugar Cookie up at Walgreen’s last night when they wouldn’t let me double coupon on a Colour Riche Balm. And now, well, I want all of them. (I got Watermelon Juice today at KMart.)

  • Natasha

I have abandoned all my pricey lipsticks and am in love with Sweet Strawberry! It is amazing, to say the least, and its getting harder and harder to get because people are spreading the word, lol. Simply amazing product!
