Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy

My fragrance life was sadly lacking anything from Juicy Couture for a very long time. I remember sniffing it for the first time in the bottle and being not quite convinced it was for me.

Fast forward a year or so down the road and I get unintentionally spritzed with Viva la Juicy and suddenly I was in a mad frenzy to add all of Juicy’s fabulous fragrances to my stash.

If the eccentric bottle with it’s crystal cut topper and large bow doesn’t capture your interest the vibrant, sweet, floral notes are sure to capture your fancy. Think juicy wild berries and mandarin with fresh bursts of honeysuckle, gardenia, and bright floral jasmine and a rich, warm dry down of creamy vanilla, caramel, praline, amber, and sandalwood. Viva La Juicy manages to open up with a melody of playful sweeter notes but dries down to a comforting, richer blend. The joy of the fragrance is it’s never sickeningly sweet, overpowering, or too much.

Like its name this fragrance lives life with a sparkling, energetic personality.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

i like viva la juicy but i think couture couture is my favourite of the juicy fragrances!

I love VLJ too ;-D I was disappointed the new one didn’t work for me 🙁 too green le sigh!

  • Coquette in Paris

You know what? Despite being the snobby Paris girl, I really like Juicy’s original perfume – my body seems to eat fruity notes in perfumes and gives off the floral ones, so it’s not sweet on me – smells somehow, like sugared ivy and roses and crushed leaves. With that being said.. Viva La Juicy – I’m sorry muse, i love you, but DO NOT WANT. It’s so sickly sweet!

    • the Muse

;-D ha it’s not for everyone…I LOVEEEEEEEEEE super sweet ;-D so I’m def into. Funny enough the first time I tried it, I thought mmm not me but I got addicted to it really fat ;-d!

I love the Viva La juicy muse! Im planning to buy a bottle of it actually, but i want to use up my rollerball of Peace Love and Juicy Couture first. Those two are my favorite ones. i wish those two came in a duo set and i would totally buy it! but alas, in every set or kit Juicy Couture has, they rarely include Peace Love and Juicy Couture. 🙁

aw a value set would be fab ;-D! I haven’t looked lately but macys always has some killer sets ;-D

      • Sabrinna

Ive actually checked that out too, they have a cool Viva la Juicy Set! XD im so tempted to buy, but im hoping someone gives it as a gift this christmas!

  • Tohnia

Peace Love Juicy is my ultimate favorite. Any other formulation is way to sweet/floral on me. And I am NOT a juicy girl in any way, but PLJ is just green enough to be gorgeous on me!

Muse, I am a Juicy girl! I looove this fragrance, and got my sister and mother to love it too! My other favourite is Jean Paul Gauthier’s “Madame” which I always get compliments on when I wear it. I love the right sweet fragrance.

    • the Muse

hey steph ;-D yay! I’ve been trying to convert my sister ;-D she doesn’t like too many sweet scents though! I never tried Madem! JPG is normally too rich for me, is it sweet, sweet?

  • Lori

Do you know if Viva La Juicy changed their formula? I have worn it for years and am obsessed with it, but I have recently bought 2 new bottles and both smell awful. I used to but my perfumes at dillards but haven’t been able to go to one so I bought the new perfumes at Walmart. Is Walmart’s perfume not the real Viva la Juicy? Please and thank you!

    • Isabella Muse

Not that I know of! Honestly, walmart probably just has a watered down version of it that’s why it is so cheap!

      • Lori

Ok thank you!! Next time I am in town I am 100% buying the real thing! Or, do you know where I can order the real deal online?

Thank you for responding to my questions!

        • Isabella Muse

sure anytime! Sephora, Ulta, Juicy’s website directly, or even Fragrance Net are good places to get it.

          • Lori

Thank you!! Is there a difference between the Viva La Juicy and the Viva La Juicy Eau de Parfum Spray? Or is it the same thing? Because they look the same, but both are on their website and Dillard’s online.

Thank you for your help and advice!
