Lush Forum Exclusive Fragrances for Holiday 2011

Lush Forum Exclusive Fragrances for Holiday 2011 2

Lush UK had their traditional Forum Party this week and like any party they have pre-Christmas it includes several exclusive Forum Fragrances!

Yay!

I’m not nearly as active as I used to be on the forums but I’ve been ordering the exclusive fragrances for at least 8 years or so now since they are unique blends that Lush doesn’t normally do.

Take a look!

Lush Forum Exclusive Fragrances for Holiday 2011 1

Lush Rose Jam Special Fragrance £25
We’ve had some wonderful new creations this year, but the beautiful fragrance used in our Rose Jam bubbleroon and Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner has been voted by the forum as the very best of 2011. The Rose Jam fragrance is light, fresh and modern, with a hint of lemon and sexy geranium oil.

Lush SnowShowers Special Fragrance £22
With sweet orange, lime and cognac oils, Snowshowers is the perfume to wear when you want to PAAARTAY!!! You’ll find this fruity fragrance in our Celebrate lip tint and new Golden Wonder ballistic.

Lush Yuzu and Cocoa Forum Special Fragrance £23
If you’re after a perfume to make you smell good enough to eat, then this is the one! Yuzu is a kind of Japanese mandarin, with a light, fruity fragrance which we’ve recreated here using citrus oils of grapefruit and bergamot. We’ve mixed that with sweet tonka bean to make a delicious perfume that smells like chewy orange sweeties. Mmmmm.

Lush Twilight Forum Special Fragrance £25
The lavender and malt fragrance in our Twilight ballistic has proved to be incredibly popular since it launched last year, and received the most number of votes in our forum fragrance poll. It’s a floral scent that’s relaxing, sensual and quite unique. Wear it to express your individuality in an understated and sophisticated way.

Lush American Cream Forum Special Fragrance £22
This nearly didn’t make the list, but Mark C had so many special requests for an American Cream perfume that he decided to sneak it in as an extra! We’re really glad he did, because this strawberries-and-cream scent is just gorgeous when worn as a perfume. It smells delicious of course, but there’s a complexity to American Cream that transforms the vanilla milkshake aroma from scrummy to sexy. It’s one of those perfumes that inspires instant devotion.

Lush Silky Underwear Forum Special Fragrance £18
The soft powdery jasmine fragrance you’ll find in Silky Underwear dusting powder, Fairy Jasmine ballistic and Alkmaar soap makes a fantastic perfume to spray onto the skin. It’s subtle and comforting, but has a sexy heart that’ll turn heads wherever you go.

Lush Olive Branch Forum Special Fragrance £20
The perfume in The Olive Branch shower gel was originally developed as a fine fragrance, so it’s no wonder the customers on our forum vote for it to be made in their fragrance parties almost every year. It’s a warm, sunny scent of mandarin, bergamot, lemon and orange flower that transports you to Mediterranean isle even in the depths of winter.

If you’re old hat to the fragrance rounds you probably own most of these already. I personally only hauled Rose Jam and Yuzu and Cocoa because I already have at least two of the others on the list.

However, for folks new to Lush I highly recommend checking some of these out particularly SnowShowers!

In recent years, Lush NA has had their own fragrance round which includes most of the same fragrances released in the UK. This has happened for the past three years or so now…I can’t confirm yet whether NA will be getting this round but if you’d like to order these now Lush UK does ship to the US.

not the same ones but Lush UK does a fragrance round every year yes. The forum votes on which fragrances will be made and than Lush proceeds to make them.

GAH, I can’t believe I missed this :( I was googling around for info on the forum parties the SAME WEEK you posted this; however, I was only able to find results regarding past parties – and actually, I’m pretty sure I found and read one of YOUR old blogs about a forum party… it just wasn’t this one. :( Tonight when I decided to try hunting for info again, this entry was the 3rd result in my search! Waaaah.

Supersigh… so, now I’m trying to hunt down AC, Twilight and Y&C on eBay, for less than insanely overinflated prices. And quite a challenge this will be, I see!

By the way, is the link on the lush.co.uk site the same for every party, or was ‘phoenix’ just this year’s link?

Are you happy with the Yuzu and Cocoa perfume? Does it really smell like orange chocolate? I love the smell of orange chocolate.

    :)
