mark Main Squeeze Lipgloss Review, Swatches, Photos
I love me some funky, gadget-like packaging. It’s my geeky good nature that enjoys the gadgetry of the new mark Main Squeeze Lip Glosses.

My friend Jai and I sat down to struggle with these glosses for the better part of 20 minutes. We were under the impression they flipped up and you applied with a fingertip.
Needless to say that we squealed like two little girls when we figured out that the silver part flips off and under it houses an applicator. Genius!
At first I was a little meh about the packaging as I really don’t relish the idea of sticking my fingers into a pot of gloss as not only is it messy but it basically destroys the product since it’s an easy way to end up with a bacteria ridden gloss plus let’s not forget how inconvenient it is to travel with it.
Now I think the packaging is wicked. These chunky disks will stand upright and have a silver top which removes to display the stealthy little applicator underneath the hood. The packaging center is a soft, squishy plastic that’s surrounded by a sturdy plastic. This squishy center allows you to squeeze the gloss to the applicator for application. Nifty isn’t it?
The downside is the applicator is an ickle small so things can get messy fast during application. You need to apply slowly to avoid sloshing lipgloss all over the outer sides of the applicator. Outside of this minor quirk I find the packaging funky. P.S. Don’t forget to tissue off the applicator before popping the top back on to avoid a mess!
The Mark Main Squeeze Lipglosses come in three shades and are a limited edition release for Holiday 2011. The formula on these little guys has a nice tack so it wears decently long. The thicker texture creates a fuller lip look with a fruity flavor. I like thicker glosses so I enjoyed the formula as it had a strong glossy finish, a lovely fruity taste, and just the right amount of tackiness to keep it wearing for three to four hours. However, if you really don’t love sticky, thick glosses you might not like this formula.
Each of the glosses has its own flavor so if you’re sensitive to scented or flavored lipglosses beware as they are heavily fragranced. I found them quite tasty!
You can choose from:
- Cherry Squeeze
- Papaya Squeeze
- Honey Squeeze
The shades have a slight shimmer and very little color pay off. For the most part I get a clear finish to each however Cherry Squeeze does offer a slight more pigment than the other shades in the collection.
At $10 a pop these are a rather cute little budget lipgloss with some fun packaging, they remind me of the Hourglass Prodigy Hydrating Lip Gloss.
Likey!
