NYX Color Lip Balms

Color lip balms and butters are all the rage this season so it was only a matter of time before NYX released their own.

NYX Color Lip Balms are available in 12 shades with a budget friendly price tag. I think we might need to check these out.

NYX Color Lip Balms offer shine, moisture, and a sheer wash of color for a natural pout plus they come in a variety of shades and are $3.75 each.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ll have to check these out if Ulta carries them…I’m always interested in new tinted lip balms since I don’t like my natural lip color. Revlon Lip Butters are great, but they are more of a lipstick than a balm, IMO.

I hope they’re as good as the NYX Tinted Lip Spas…wonder if they still make those.

I think I need these all. LOL

If you get to swatch them, I look forward to a blog post about it 🙂

That’s funny how the shade names are all “Thanks” in different languages, I wonder why?

Heads up- these are terrible. I picked up three of them. They apply blotchy and feel sort of gritty. The color payoff is not good and they taste rather awful. AVOID!

That’s too bad, they looked interesting & something I was going to try. Just out of curiousity which ones did you try?

I own two: a vibrant red and pink. Great as a base for lipsticks or alone. They leave a beautiful stained effect on the lips. 🙂
