Physicians Formula appears to have done it again and released another interesting and winning collection for Holiday 2011. The Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Eye Enhancing Universal Looks for Holiday 2011 features four new palettes for eyes in Casual, Nude, Fashionista, and Smoky.
The packaging as well as the actual shadows inside look rather stunning particularly the Nude variation.

I happen to love cupcakes, I mean LOVE. Dig?
Cuppycakes are just so universal as they fit into every Holiday for me. Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Christmas…..it’s a universally brilliant dessert since you can decorate them in any way you want!
Now you can’t stuff a Christmas stocking with a deliciously decadent cupcake without making a mess but you can stuff it with cupcake themed beauty essentials!
A little divine inspiration awaits you from Philosophy this month on QVC. The Philosophy Divine Inspiration Beauty Palette for Holiday 2011 includes all you’ll need for the perfect festive face this season.

The novelty of British brand, Eyeko, was the kawaii packaging and manga style brand mascot.
But Eyeko has grown up!
Mark is debuting their On the Dot Eye Color Compact in a Neutral color selection for the Holidays.
Word on the street is the Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow 2.0 Palette are quite the hit. And really why wouldn’t they be? I have my little stash of loose mineral shadows from BE but let’s face it they are the fall out demons from hell. I hate having to clean up fall out because hello, how impossible. I’ve tried tape tricks, powder under the eye trick, etc…etc…even eyeshadow shields which are sometimes a gift from the beauty tool Gods in these situations but fall out, such a pain.
Bare Minerals makes some might fine shadows but having them pressed up into a compact, well, that’s the best thing I’ve experienced in the beauty world since the introduction of Urban Decay Primer Potion.
Let’s take a peek and find out what’s so fab about ‘em!
I’ll be the first one to admit I spend alot of my drugstore makeup life with my nose up in the air. I used to be very snotty about what kind of brands I purchased but as Musings grew so did I and I now embrace alot more drugstore makeup however it doesn’t mean that I don’t nitpick most of it apart and find flaw in almost all of it. Sometimes, you do get what you pay for.
On the upside….sometimes you score such a great deal you wanna share it with the world. I happen to be blessed enough to have the ability to share it with a few thousand people a day here on my site when I really like something. The same people who share my love of makeup. I can’t tell you how fun that is.
My recent great deal?
The new L’Oreal Project Runway Blushes. Wow, these are awesome.
I went through this skincare phase a few years ago where I couldn’t get enough of H20+. We had long term love affair and at some point H20+ began replacing my beloved Lush.
I’m on and off with skincare lately. I cheat with alot of different brands lately but I still have a soft spot for H20+.
Moral of the story?

I do need a little beauty therapy and a helping hand when it comes to blush because yes, I admit, I am heavy handed. Clown cheeks! Freak out!
Freaking klownz are all kinds of scary. I dunno who thought that it was a good idea to slap a wig on someone, paint their face white, and give them a big red nose, it’s just such a freak-fest. Remember Killer Klowns from Outer Space? That shiz gave me all kinds of nightmares in my youth and up until today if I’m honest.
If you haven’t seen it, rent it, seriously it’s such a scary cheese-fest.
The Klowns are sadistic aliens who invade Earth and pitch their circus tent ship in a sleepy American Town and proceed to chase people down with their cotton candy ray guns. Inside the ship they keep the bodies wrapped in cotton candy cocoons. It sounds ridiculous but dude, it’s scary as hell!
I got off topic didn’t I?
Pixi Beauty Blush a simple solution to avoiding clown cheeks!
British brand, Nip and Fab, has recently launched at Target. The line is actually created by Maria Hatzistefanis the found of Rodial. Rodial being rather expensive it’s nice to know there’s a budget friendly option available out there by the same folks who brought it to us eh? Think of Nip and Fab as the new Soap & Glory peeps as it has some fabulous little products that will not only conceal your dark circles but give your tummy a much needed pick me up!
Some products that caught my eye were the Eye Fix which is a concealer that reduces puffiness plus their Sheer Make-Up Fix which sounds like a low calorie BB Cream.
Maria’s actually live on Twitter today (12:00 PM EST) if you want to ask her questions about the brand, the products, or even ask her suggestions about common beauty problems like dreaded puffy eyes!
Tweet her at @NipandFab using hashtags #NipandFabinTarget and #TargetChat to get replies to your questions!
P.S. Have you tried Nip & Fab?
Urban Decay’s Friends and Family Event is on baby! This is the time you can take advantage of hauling all you can at 20% Off. If you don’t already own the Naked Palette you’re a stinker, go get it, NOW!
I feel like I’m pretty locked up tight on the Urban Decay front so I’m not taking advantage of the sale. Yes, I admit, there is such a thing as too much Urban Decay. Thankfully I’m pretty stocked up on everything from the brand now I’m just sitting around patiently waiting for Spring 2012 to release. I’m positive Urban Decay Spring 2012 will probably be something stupid awesome, another Book of Shadows maybe?! With ALL new shades and no Midnight Cowboy? Yes, yes, please make it happen!
For those who are hauling at the sale might I suggest grabbing yourself the Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash?
