Guys, I swear to the Makeup Gods I didn’t pay one red penny for these new Bath & Body All I Want Liplicious Lipglosses.
Aren’t you proud of me? Considering half my life savings has gone to the Liplicious Collection I’m kinda sorta chuffed that I didn’t pay for these. Getting press samples of Liplicious Lipgloss is my equivalent to winning the lotto.
I’ve been trying to get some Holiday shopping done the past few weeks. How about you?
- Hells no, I wait till the last minute.
- I’m getting there.
I fall into the “I’m getting there” click. This morning I hauled azz over to Lounge Fly to order a few of the new Hello Kitty Embossed Totes as my sister as well as four of my friends have this on their wish list and I was delighted, actually, erase that, so damn excited that they are having 20% Off! I saved so much money on my purchases as each of the damn bags is $70 dollars plus I wanted to get matching wallets.
Amen for awesome sales!
I know it’s not beauty but if you’re looking for a unique tote or bag as a gift you can save 20% using promo code LFFALL on purchases of $50 or more at www.loungefly.com
My friends and family aren’t terribly into makeup or at least not as crazy, foaming at the mouth wild like I am but I think many of them enjoy a good beauty purchase here and there. I love gifting beauty around the Holidays, it’s just fun gifting some new, brilliant palette to a friend and kinda enabling her/him to the joys of a brand she or he never tried before. I particularly have fun with my sister who isn’t a big makeup person but still enjoys it (just not as much as me).
Are you gifting beauty this year?
Might I suggest the Mally Beauty My Favorite Things Collection?
Laura Geller has an upcoming QVC Today Special Value that QVC Beauty Insiders can take advantage of already. Not an Insider? No worries, it’ll air as a Today’s Special Value December 31st.

Ah the smoky eye…I can’t seem to pull it off anymore, dude, I look all kinds of tired when I try it. Le sigh! It’s old age.
But if you’re a traditional smoky kinda girl you’ll love the Bobbi Brown Smoky Eye Collection available on QVC.
I’m just saying, I wouldn’t say no if Stila decided to do a Muse Exclusive Travel Palette. I’d love being immortalized as a Stila girl in all my geektastic glory.
I’m free, schedule is wide open here if you wanna contact me….I have a ton of creative ideas for my palette…anyone? Anyone at all?
Moral of the story?
Everyone but ME (and maybe you) has a Stila exclusive palette this year. The Stila Making Spirits Bright Palette is a Macy’s Exclusive one and dare I say I wants it.
My stash of chucks rivals that of my makeup collection.
It’s not beauty but lovers of Converse can take 25% Off their total purchase site wide (no promo code needed) at www.converse.com
Here’s the Ricky Martin and Nicki Minaj in the Ricky & Nicki MAC Viva Glam 2012 campaign visual shot by David LaChapelle.
Every penny of Ricky and Nicki’s Viva Glam products, on-counter February 2012, goes to support the MAC AIDS Fund.
Sparkle Shadow, my favorite Bobbi shadow of all time. It’s sparkly, it’s shimmery, it’s oh so gorgeous for the Holidays. The formula has undergone some slight changes since they originally introduced it as I feel like it’s thicker and packed a bit better but overall, it’s still as super as it ever way but it does take a special kind of person to love on it as if you’re not a shimmer girl, this one isn’t for you!
But if you are a founding member of the sparkle club…
Well jump ahead!
Have a highlighter list a mile long but simply can’t afford the steep prices?
E.L.F to the rescue. They’ve packaged up their Healthy Glow Shimmer Powder for the Holidays and slapped an inexpensive price tag on it.
Take a peek!
Dry skin, it’s what for dinner over here.
Colder weather=drier skin for me. Did ya know that folks with dry skin tend to age faster? Great, something to look forward to. Not cool.
Solution? Keep it as moisturized as humanly possible! Tarte 100% Pure Cold Pressed Maracuja Oil from the Amazon to the rescue!
Ahhh the ever popular Shimmering Highlighter, it’s as traditional as turkey and dressing during the Holiday Season isn’t it? You probably own tons of gorgeous highlighters, heck, you might even be that girl that stores them away in her beauty vault and takes them out only to look at, pet, and whisper sweet nothings in their ears or you might be that daring girl that dives right into that gorgeous powder, guns a blazing!
Every year I can expect to fall in love with at least four to five highlighter powders from various brands. Be it Lancome, Estee Lauder, MAC, or most important of all Chanel…everyone has some sort of gorgeous powder waiting in the wings to tempt me come the Holidays.
For the really hardcores I bet that Chanel Lumiere Sculptee de Chanel Highlighting Powder is on your Santa list.
The NYX Collection Noir is a selection of eight eyeliners in various formulas, finishes, and styles. The new NYX Satin Finish Black Liner featured in this collection brings me way back to my youth when my sister used to use some sort of red packaged black eyeliner (maybe it was by Maybelline…). I remember how she’d warm it up with a lighter, not something I’d suggest doing but seems so fitting for 80′s beauty.
Traditional pencils like this are somewhat a thing of a past now that we have an array of various formulas and retractable pencils on the market. It just seems like the old black eyeliner went through a heck of a revamp in recent years.
However, NYX Satin Finish Black Liner brings us back to days of old with a wicked little formula to line and define eyes!
Having never had issues with my skin in regards to acne, it probably comes as a shock I’ve doing some sponsored posts for Proactiv but I gotta say everything I’ve tried up until now was surprisingly brilliant.
There Green Tea Moisturizer is kinda rocking my world lately.
Let’s take a look!
