Revlon Grow Luscious Lash Liner Review, Swatches, Photos

Revlon is onto something…

If they play their cards right their Grow Luscious Lash Liner can take over my stash of Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliners but first they have to make a few minor adjustments to get there.

Jump!

Revlon Grow Luscious Lash Liner promotes healthier lashes which is a super plus for mascara but the joy here, for me, is the amazing formula.

Revlon successfully created an eyeliner they can be proud of as this is a dreamy, creamy texture that glides onto lashes without tugging or skipping. It smudges out beautifully as well and has quite a decent wear time without flaking up or creating a raccoon eye effect. Count me impressed as alot of eyeliners I’ve tried from the drugstore are either too hard and skip when you apply plus a fair bit of tugging is involved to get them into place but Grow Luscious Lash Liner has a lovely soft texture.

The shade I tried out was a bright, vibrant hue of emerald green…this is where things get interesting. After trying the shade I was deeply impressed with the vibrancy and pigmentation of the color. So impressed I quickly went to the website to see what other colors they offer…

Sadly, as of now, they offer the standard black, brown, and grey shades (four total colors) with Emerald being the exception to the normal traditional shades you’d find in a drugstore eyeliner.

This one is very Muse Approved for purchase since it has a ton of quality to back it up and a very sweet $7 or less price tag depending where you shop it.

What would make it better?

Revlon could so some serious damage to Urban Decay’s 24/7 Eyeliner sales if they introduced this one in a variety of colors…purple, gold, blue, etc…

That would make it perfect!

Loved it!

    hi muse!
i’m currently obsessed with all things that promise to promote growth and condition my lashes. i know it wouldn’t contribute any lash benefits to apply on the waterline but i’m wondering if you tried it there and how it worked? just wondering because i feel like having to apply two separate liners to my lashline and waterline would be a pain!

    • the Muse

I actually was scared to apply on my waterline…and the packaging doesn’t make mention if you can. I took the initiative to contact Revlon but haven’t heard back from them yet. It is a pain, I agree!!!!!!!!

  • Tiffany

I saw this in the drugstore and was hesitant to get it but after this review i will go pick it up right away! although i agree that they should offer more colors , maybe a UD Mildew dupe as it is my favorite eyeliner of all time !

    • the Muse

tiffany def get it. It’s a really NICE formula…only thing is I wish I knew if I could use on my waterline and hells yes a mildew dupe I’d be on it. get the emerald in this, it’s a BEAUTIFUL shade!

  • theRothstanator

Are there flecks of gold in it as well? If so, I want! It kinda looks like that LE UD shade that is in their Electric 24/7 set.

  • Sarah

How….how do you get more than just that little tip? I know this sounds stupid…but I love mine and its so dull now its just a big fat crayon. Or is that little tip it?

      • Sarah

        ….*smacks self.
…Yeah…it just didn’t look sharpen-able. I’m going to be that girl you talk about to your makeup friends “remember that girl who couldn’t sharpen an eyeliner?”

hi muse! I’ve seen this at the drugstores but as I’ve told you before..unless it’s Muse Approved, I can’t bring myself to buy it! But, now that you’re approving it… and if you had to pick between this revlon one or the milani ones…. which one would it be?!

    • the Muse

ha kate you flatter me girl! thanks! 🙂 I like the milani ones alot and the advantage is the fact they come in a variety of shades….I do think this one is a littleeeeeeeeeeeee creamier though. Not by much but def like how it glided on so beautifully. Both are excellent pencils so you’ll be happy no matter which you choose!

Hiya Muse, I am definitely going to try this eyeliner. Sounds really good. It looks sort of liquidy in your swatch but as it’s a pencil I am probably seeing things that are not there 🙂
