Tarina Tarantino Gem Gloss Review, Swatches, Photos
My holiday season is complete since hearing that The Inbetweeners Movie is releasing December 12th. I just pre-ordered my copy because I need my Blake fix, kid got moves!
What are your Holiday DVD Wish Lists looking like? I know what’s off mine, HP Years 1-7 what a cop out! Virtually no extra features and a relaunch in Spring with another special edition Blu-Ray set…Warner sure knows how to suck up our money from that franchise.
I feel like I watch alot more movies during the Holidays. It’s nice settling into the couch after a big meal with friends or family and watching a flick or on a cold night.
I thought it was funny that I was spending more on DVD Sets this year than Holiday Makeup. How are you doing with your Holiday hauling?
I’ve revised my Holiday Wish List to include more Tarina Tarantino Gem Gloss after trying a single shade out. I need them all please.

I actually never tried the Gem Glosses for some reason or another but I’m glad I have now as my Sephora Friends and Family List Deux features several shades on it after trying out this one I sampled recently.
These are the same glosses that came in pink packaging with a ribbon emblem so nothing has changed here outside of the packaging which is now sports a slick, gunmetal grey cap.
Gem Gloss has a nifty applicator which makes using the gloss a treat as this slanted applicator picks color up beautifully and builds it on lips easily. The sponge tip saturated well with color so you can pretty much get the gloss on in a single swipe and build up as needed. MAC Lipglasses seriously need to sport an applicator like this as I’m constantly double dipping with ’em!
The formula on these has a nice lightweight feel with a medium color payoff or at least the shade I tried did. It feels very comfortable on my lips and has a fairly nice wear time of about three hours sans drinking or eating. The finish isn’t terribly shiny but it has just enough to add the right bit of pop to your lip look.
The color I tried was My Pretty which is a lovely golden peach, kinda reminds me of NARS Orgasm for some reason.
Overall, I’m liking these alot and have added six other shades to my Sephora wish list. Yup, I need more.
Want a really cool deal?
Snag the Mini Gem Glossette Set for $13 at Sephora.com and try several shades in a single go (that one is in my cart too!).
