I just ordered and the discount was applied to sale items – which made them a fantastic deal:-) Got both of the 24/7 eyeliners on sale, two of the cream shadows, and the nail polish set.

I think they mean you can’t buy five BOS in one order electronicfly but aren’t limiting you to five items per order.

Hmm… That’s 5% less than last time, and 10% less than the time before. Not complaining about a sale, just wondering why I should buy from UD’s sale over Sephora’s. That’s all. :) I like receiving everything in one big package…….and also need to replenish beauty points with all the good rewards lately.

    What will you haul, Muse?

Yeah…maybe that’s why it seems disappointing. Who needs more UD? :p Got lots of palettes, singles, lipgloss, etc… just need a couple of the new liquid liners.

Still kicking around that eyelash curler. I know you hated it. Makes me wanna get it even more. *lol* Walk around curling random things since it has no cagey ends.

All I got were the 3 liquid liners on sale and a cream shadow…really wanted the old liquid liners so I’m excited(I like the new ones too, but the old were great, and for 7 dollars! hello!). I got all my other UD stuff from Sephora already. I am all UD’d out!

There really is no reason to buy most UD items from UD directly because not only do you miss out on Sephora beauty points but also Ebates cash back (if you participate, which I do!) Urban Decay is trying to bridge the gap between the F&F sale and the VIB sale at Sephora’s but beauty enthusiasts only buy so much UD. They would have been better served to offer a slightly better discount, but I have to wonder if Sephora put the smackdown on that. I’ll take a look on those items that Sephora does not sell (which are few and far between). Too bad that UD doesn’t have kits like Tarte that are exclusive to their website.

Yep, I’m totally feeling you on this. I use either mrrebates or ebates, whichever has the better discount (for a while it was mrrebates, but lately they’re about the same on most). It doesn’t even give me my tax back, but it’s a nice little bump in a few months for my paypal account. I like surprise spending money. ;)

See, last year (was it last year? Or the year before?) UD had a whopping 30% for the F&F and that was a hell of a deal. The 25% last year wasn’t too bad….but I agree, the 20% seems almost pointless. That’s Sephora’s F&F, plus you get reward points, plus the rebate situation you mentioned. Just doesn’t add up for savvy shoppers.

Actually, I wonder how much of it might be a Sephora pressure, and how much is their popularity on Hautelook. Whenever UD comes up on Hautelook the site is slow, and the hot items sell out in minutes. So why would UD mess around with sales of their own when they can just unload old product on Hautelook?

I bought some sale items, because I just couldn’t pass it up! I got the tinted moisturizer in Halo for $4.8 after discount, the Roller Girl nail polish set for $6.4 after the discount, the cream shadow in Mushroom for $2.4, and then a genie bottle of the Eden primer for $8 after the discount. Not too bad! Shipping was the most expensive thing I paid for, nearly!

I’ve really been wanting a backup of the Naked palette, even though I don’t NEED one, but it’s just the BEST NEUTRAL PALETTE EVER. :)
