Wen Cleansing Conditioners with Gift Boxes Review
I’d feel terribly weird if I gifted a friend with haircare for the Holidays. 1. My friends wouldn’t appreciate it as not alot of them are heavily into beauty plus many of them are geeky guys and 2. It makes feel like I’m gifting deodorant or something. “Oh hai here is a gift of shampoo for the holidays, you haz bad hair day!” Know what I mean?
So I decided to gift MYSELF with the Wen Cleansing Conditioners with Gift Boxes from QVC. All the reasons I listed above for not gifting to friends, well, that’s probably a cop out because I’m selfish and wanted this set all for myself.
Yup…
Jump!
I’m kinda sorta obsessed with Wen again. I tried it a few years ago, liked it, and didn’t do a repurchase in a bit since I reverted back to my beloved Lush Haircare but lately I find Wen is just so simple to use and it makes my hair super soft so yay for simplicity in haircare.
This set comes with five 16 oz bottles of Wen Cleansing Conditioners in beautiful gift boxes as well a five piece DVD set to gift with each conditioner to introduce friends to the joy of Wen. In my case, I really have no use for the DVD set because I purchased on my own but I think it really is a rather fun when to introduce your besties to a new hair care product.
Wen Cleansing conditioning is a rich and moisturizing cleansing shampoo slash conditioner made from a blend of herbs & natural ingredients. It’s formulated to not strip your hair and cleanses hair without detergents. You simply wet your hair, apply a few pumps, let it sit for a minute or two and rinse as you normally would in the shower.
One thing you do have to be careful with is the fact this does cause a bit of build up with continued use. My first try I didn’t notice any issues with build up however after a month or more of use I definitely noticed my hair was a bit weighted down. So you do want to rely on a clarifying shampoo once every two weeks or even weekly to correct the issue should it arise.
This set the following scents:
- Sweet Almond Mint
- Fig
- Pomegranate
- Lavender
- Winter Vanilla Mint
The set is $80 plus $9 shipping which works out to around $18 or so dollars per bottle. It’s a deal in my opinion.
