Almay Intense I-Color Shadow Sticks

Almay Intense I-Color Shadow Sticks are a dual sided shadow stick that features two colors. I’m not sure on the formula here and the colors seemed a tad uneventful so I didn’t haul but those who love products like MAC Shadesticks will be quite happy to have a cheaper alternative especially one that has two shades.

What do you think?

well i hate to assume the worst; but I hated covergirls shadow blast sitck before and after their reformulation. Sorry almay – pass.

I have the Covergirl ones and I didn’t like them so chances are I might not like these either. =(

I bought the shadow stick for Hazel eyes and I hate to say it but I am less than impressed. You have to use a LOT of product just to get ANY color to show at all and even when you do, it is very minimal. I tried with and without primer as well as with and without powder base. At best I will use these as a base for other, more pigmented, shadows. This is definitely not something I will every buy again.

Thanks for letting us know! I was wondering if they were going to be as bad as the CoverGirl ones or actually decent. From your overview on them it seems they’re exactly like the CG ones. You’d think Almay could have actually tried to succeed where CG failed.

I was skeptical to buy this, so Tested a friends out. It seemed to be very similar formulation to covergirl smokey shadow sticks, except a little less greasy. It didn’t have good color payoff and creased, I was dissapointed because I thought Almay would have a better formulated product.
