Juju Cosmetics Aqua Moist Hyaluronic Acid Eye Cream Review

Hadalabo is a very, very popular collection of skincare products available in Japan. I’ve always felt like Juju Cosmetics Aqua Moist Collection is kinda a copycat of the line.

Juju Cosmetics Aqua Moist Hyaluronic Acid Eye Cream recently caught my eye and I strayed from Hadalabo temporarily while I checked out this one.

Here are a few of my thoughts!

This promises to not only replenish moisture but also to help retain it. Considering my eyes are very dry I was all about using an eye cream infused with Hyaluronic Acid which is excellent source for helping to maintain moisture and keep it locked into skin.

The formula promises ingredients such as collagen to help improve the appearance of skin although collagen from what I understand (I’m no chemist so I could be wrong) cannot be absorbed into the skin.

Other ingridents include Hyaluronic Acid as well as glycerin to provide hydration as well as aid in retaining moisture. The texture of this resembles that of a traditional Asian essence but it’s a tad thicker. It’s a clear, milky shade with a soft, creamy glide. It smooths onto even the driest eyes easily and absorbs in a snap. I loved how lightweight it was and how it instantly hydrated my dryness.

On the upside, this wears well under concealer products, etc…so it makes a rather fantastic prep if you’re looking for something to aid in the application of concealer or if your concealer applies badly do to dryness.

On the downside, I didn’t feel like it helped retain moisture and in cases I felt like I needed even more moisture than this provided. As a daily eye cream it’s lightweight, absorbs easily, and provides just the right amount of hydration however as a night cream I wouldn’t strongly recommend it particularly for those with dry eyes since it simply doesn’t have enough moisture in it to replenish eyes and keep them looking youthful.

I’d recommend this for daily use as it’s a perfect prep for concealer and makes a nice, lightweight eye cream. I’d also recommend it for younger, drier eyes however as a night treatment I strongly suggest something with more moisture particularly for those who suffer from drier eyes or who have aging, drier eyes.

I purchased this from Sasa.com.

I was just looking for an eye cream for day time because I usually use the avocado eye cream from Kiehl’s and its way to heavy for day time coz my concealer cant stop creasing 🙁 Thank you telling me this light weight eye cream! Yay! 🙂
I’ll soon go back to my country for Christmas and I’ll stock up 😛

I was so excited to see this review! Maybe it would work better as an eye serum to be worn under an eye cream (if you’re into those gazillion step skincare routine 😉

that could do the trick lichee! I use it in the AM, works great as a prep for concealer and keeps eyes nicely hydrated but my eyes are super dry and need a bit more in the evening!

    ahhh! I use this lol
I’ve seen people compare Hado Labo and Juju Aquamoist before. They seem similar but some of their products are different. I ended up being a Aquamoist user after seeing ads for it all the time in Hong Kong. One of my friends uses Hado Labo and we were comparing them… really similar but sometimes the products have different consistencies.

I was in Japan 1 week ago, and I bough one of this cream, Hadalabo with hialuronic acid. Well, since I use this fluid, my skin became beautiful, and before always I had problems with my skin, my doctor said I had dermatitis even I was worried!! I tried a lot of creams. But my boyfriend (japanese) sayd me, try to use this cream. Now I have the skin hydrated, smoother, more plump and my pores are barely noticeable. I recommend.
