Wow those look really sheer, how do they compare to the Revlon lip butters?

Same type of packaging too! Silver tube in a square package that is the same color as the lip product inside. haha. I like the fact that they aren’t shimmery!

These don’t seem as pigmented as the Revlon Lip Butters, but there are some very pretty colours here.

Wonder how these compare to Baby Lips…love my Baby Lips in Cherry Me…not so much the Fruit Punch one which tastes gross.

Muse, what do you think of this new lightly tinted balm trend? Seems like maybe they are trying to copy Fresh balms? What is your favorite so far out of Baby Lips, Revlon Lip Butters, or those new C.O. Bigelow ones you recently reviewed? I feel swamped by all these new balms…and now these new L’Oreal ones…sheesh!

hey mandy! I like it! It’s a great spring trend and summer…lightweight with just a hint of color, nice for a natural face look ;-D so far loving the Revlon Lip Butters but they are more like a lipstick than a balm ;-D the L’Oreal ones are quite nice but the colors are very sheer so they all look the same on lips grrr!

They’re nice – but I like the Revlon Lip Butters better – better color payoff!

Nice! I love the Revlon lip colors but one thing I hated was that so many had crazy shimmer/glitter! Also these look more balm-y while I found the Revlon ones to be more like a sticky lipstick. I couldn’t find these tonight but I really want to pick up at least one when I can :)

I can’t wait for these!! They remind me of Japanese sheer glossy lipsticks. I like the Revlon lip butters but I don’t feel like the product suits the name.. Moisturizing factor is minimal and some are more like lipstick (great product regardless just sort of deceiving). These look much more like what an ideal tinted lip balm would be for me. They all look so gorgeous in substitute of a normal balm though… colors are repetitive though XD I feel like one would only need 2-3 out of the bunch since they seem like it would apply virtually the same on the lips.

agreed nekura, like T’estimo-like ;-D I agree. They are more lipstick than butter ;-D the all look the same on my lips outside of the plum shade. I did a review this morning and mentioned that, no reason to haul all of them, they simply all look the same on lips.

I think I need to pick up one of these, a revlon lip butter, AND one of those bath and body balms you recently reviewed! lem!

i just picked up two of these since my local store was having a buy one, get one 1/2 off until december 24th. i picked up tender mauve to give to a friend, but the caramel comfort is mine. i love it. i feel like they are better than the revlon lip butters in terms of feeling like a “true” balm. much more nourishing, but there’s only a small difference as far as cons.
