Lush Candy Cane Soap Review

Lush Candy Cane Soap aka Snowcake on crack cocaine. Ok, so Lush might not completely love me for saying that their Candy Cane soap is on crack but hey, I calls ’em as I see ’em!

It’s no great secret that I am absolutely obsessed with Snowcake and Candy Cane is kinda a tripped out, coked up version of Snowcake.

Loves it, hard.

Jump!

I’m one for cocktailing my favorite scents. Why, yes, I do play mad scientist in my shower but hey when you have as many bath products, shower gels, soaps, lotions, and potions as I do in your shower sometimes it’s irresistible not to combine them together and see what you come up with! One of my all time favorite combos is Philosophy Candy Cane Shower Gel mixed with Lush Snow Fairy! OMG so incredibly good. I normally get a 1 oz empty bottle and fill it half with Snow Fairy and half with Candy Cane, I shake it up, let it sit around a few days so the two scents have a chance to combine well together, and end up with minty fresh Snow Fairy goodness!

In the case of Candy Cane Soap, Lush has already done the hard work for me. Don’t expect a full on Candy Cane, minty peppermint experience here. This isn’t a traditional candy cane scent by any means. Lush combines minty peppermint oil with cherry almond oil to create their sweet, creamy candy cane scent. Personally it smells like a coked up Snowcake to my nose. You get the creamy, lush almond marzipan goodness from Snowcake with hints of cherry and a burst of minty, cool, crisp peppermint!

The end result?

Cracked out Snowcake.

I loves it.

It creates mounds of creamy lather just like my beloved Snowcake as well.

This one is a must have for Christmas stockings everywhere.

I’m glad you liked it! I didn’t love the smell so much but maybe it’s because I was sick the day I went in. I do love Snowcake though! Every year I wait for Snowcake, Snowglobe, and Cinders to come out during Christmas. I’ll probably grab some Candy Cane soap during their after Christmas sale. I hope it’s a good one this year! Buy one, get two free? *cross fingers*

Sounds yummy! I skipped the big Lush after Christmas sale last year, but I’m hoping to stock up on some soapy goodness this year- if only this one can hang on long enough!
