Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam

Mousse Foundation is on the scene for Spring 2012. Revlon already has one available that’s in drugstores now and the new Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam is next up!

These foundations are air infused for a creamy, whipped up foundation that supposed glides on flawlessly.

Count me curious!

Available soon at drugstores.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I am actually super excited about this for some reason…even though I am over the moon about skin79 bb cream and have no plans to switch up, even though I really like Sonia Kushuk’s TM and had no plans to switch that either….LOL, see a pattern here? I was at walgreens today and haven’t seen any new products yet

I wonder how this lives up to the Maybelline BB foam…hint hint! I would love a review of the Maybelline as I hear it might be a dupe for the Shu Uemura BB foam 🙂

I’m intrigued by this. I would love to try it, and am a fan of the Dream collection. Fingers crossed!

Elizabeth Arden has a foam foundation — it oxidizes terribly! I wonder if this one will be any different…

Hmmm…maybelline foundations (actually drugstore foundations in general) are usually a major miss for me, but I’ll try this one if they have a shade light enough for me

I remember foam foundation from waaaaaay back in the day. I really hope the formula has improved, because I remember it drying lighting fast.

Due to having olive skin I’ll probably check out the Revlon one and skip Maybelline. Revlon tends to be more neutral while Maybelline tends to be pink.

I use Shu Uemura face architect mousse foundation – you waste a lot of product, that’s why they come in large canisters. Also, it looks good only if I apply lightly with a sponge. Moreover, SU mousse is very drying!

I just got this and have used it 3 days now. I’m not a huge fan. I barely press the top and it dispenses too much product. I basically waste half of 1 quick pump. It does blend easily and dries quickly, but it’s hard to see where I already put it. The coverage is pretty sheer. I am using my usual moisturizer under it and my face feels like it’s going to crack from being dry. I do have dry skin, but this foundation isn’t moisturizing at all and seems to counteract my moisturizer somehow. I doubt I’ll buy this again, but it does seem very convenient for travel.
