I have alot of favs from Holiday 2011 but I gotta say the Napoleon Perdis Luxe Mega Palette Desk to Dusk is my absolute favorite! I didn’t expect alot from this little palette but it delievered in a major way!

This palette was created for lips, cheeks, and lips and features four shades of blusher/highlighter, four eyeshadows, and four lipglosses. I’m not particularly loving cream and powder products in one place but since I love the palette so much I’m willing to forgive this one time particularly because the shades are so very well matched.

I think palettes are fab but sometimes brands create a palette that is a real mystery like pairing up pinks with say aqua and proceeding to not tell us how exactly we’re supposed to create a look using such strange contrasting shades.

The Desk to Dusk Palette combines all perfect shades that go well together and contrast easily. The shadow palette is made up of deep, rich brown shades with highlighting cream and beige shades for a perfect mysterious smoky brown look. The blushes are also wonderfully suited with the eyeshadow and contain dusky shades of pink with warm peaches. And finally the lip glosses are dramatic shades of browns, caramels, and dusky shades of rose. The palette combines warm shades in a way that work well as an evening look or as a low key day look thus the name desk to dusk.

The shadow formula is a velvet-y, butter texture that blends easily and has a lovely full color pay off. The glosses are shiny, creamy, and have beautiful pigment as well and the blushes are silky and smooth with just the right pigmentation so they never appear overly done.

I think the thing that stood out here was only the overall quality of the product formula but the way the palette was designed. The shades just match so well together and create a really pretty nude look. I really loved this one and thought it was well worth purchasing.

If you’re a lover of brown shades of shadow with similar shades for lips and cheeks you’ll adore this palette. My looks below was creating using everything in this palette!

Total Muse Approval for purchase.

Loved it!

This one really stood out in my Holiday 2011 Collection round up!
