Bath and Body Works Slakin & Co Candles Spring 2012

Slakin Co Candles Spring 2012 3

Bath and Body Works has a mega launch coming atcha with their Slakin & Co. Spring 2012 Collection.

Take a look!

I don’t have all the names just yet or the descriptions but I’ve been to my Bath and Body Works store and it seems like they have over 20 candles to choose from. The “Paradise” Collection as I’ve deemed it is particularly big with scents ranging from pineapples, strawberry daiquiris, and more!

I was every so hopeful this means that maybe Bath and Body Works will bring back some of their 3 in 1 Temptations Collections or at the least body mists, creams, etc…in similar scents as these.

Also releasing is a new Flower Market Collection for V-Day/Spring 2012 as well as fruity scents such as Summer Watermelon.

I’ll keep you posted as details become available!

I saw some of these yesterday (from the “Paradise” collection) in my local store. A lot of them reminded me of scents from last year and year’s past, with new names. I’m excited to check out the Flower Market scents!

I smelled all the candles, and so far my favorites are First Bloom, Coconut Water, Peach Bellini, White Palm, Island Margarita, COBO LOBO, Sunrise Lagoon, PINEAPPLE PUNCH & Pink Sangria!!I noticed that Pink Sangria (and Blue Lagoon?) really make you want to be by the pool with a fruity drink ;D

I was also surprised at how bad Pink Tulip smelled ;( I said it smelled like beer/alcohol, and the BBW clerk actually told me she thought it smelled like gasoline (aka bad). Then I went to the grocery store and smelled real pink tulips. They do not smell alike AT ALL! /dies! I’m a little sad since Pink Tulips are my favorite flower, so it would have been extra cute to have that candle LOL

I did not see the Lemon/Blackberry/Watermelon/Peach scents though. Would love to smell those~!

OH MY GOD!! I have Jungle Kiss and it smells very pretty burning… pretty peach blossoms. Mango Beachwood smells gross to me and is going back. My store doesn’t have them out yet so I have to wait to smell the rest of these. I have heard good things about Bahama Fizz, Tiki Beach, and Starfruit Crush. I know I am FOR SURE going to want Pineapple Punch … This is my second time as a die-hard candle fan in the summertime… so I am very excited!! Bring it on!!! :D :D :D
Miss Muse: did you see any oils of the scents? Did you see which they were of?? I am a big Home Fragrance Oil collector too and definitely want some matching oils, but of course, no one has been able to shed any light on which will be in oils except for Coconut Waters, which my store got the big oil to light in the store. By the way, Coconut Waters smells good as well in the candle. Alot of people have been saying it smells like Coconut Vanilla. But personally, I am not a fan of Coconut Vanilla and think Coconut Waters smells like an equal amount of coconut and fruit (maybe a little less coconut than fruit) but there’s definitely coconut in there and fruit! To me atleast. Thats my opinion!! I can’t wait for these to come out!!
