Bobbi Brown Neons & Nudes Lipgloss Review, Swatches, Photos

Remember when Chanel released Gloss Fluo De Chanel Brilliant Lip Shines? I freaking loved those things. They just popped.

My new obsession?

Bobbi Brown Neons and Nudes Lipgloss.

Likey!

Turn the lights off and might just glow! *wink* Not really but the idea of a neon lipgloss that glows in the dark isn’t entirely unappealing to me.

Available in Cosmic Pink, Ultra Violet, and Citrus these translucent glosses are a rather fun addition to Bobbi’s more mature, sophisticated makeup collection.

There pretty subtle so don’t get too excited but they pack a nice bit of shine and seem to enhance my lips making them look not only glossy but fuller. A sweet peppermint scent and a small yet effective sponge applicator builds color nicely on lips. When you first open them up they have a powerful candy cane-like scent! Love!

The two shades I tried, Cosmic Pink and Ultra Violet had very little color pay off so not sure you need to indulge in all three LE shades available unless you are a super Bobbi Brown fan but I think one or two might be worthy of a haul particularly if you like Bobbi’s formula. These have a strong wear time of about four hours with a comfortable, lightweight feel that doesn’t have a ton of tacky stickiness to make the wear unpleasant.

I admit, I immediately ordered Citrus after getting my hands on these two shades, I just had to have the orange…I expect to open each of these and have them taste like some sort of fizzy orange, strawberry, and grape soda!

Overall, if you’re not on the hunt for a clear gloss you might think $23 is too much to indulge at the moment but if you enjoy novel beauty purchases, love Bobbi, or just always wanted a bit of something different from Bobbi Brown these are worth a purchase. If nothing at all you have to get excited about Bobbi creating something that’s a little more fun and alot less professional than what she normally favors.

I like a playful Bobbi Brown!

Ahhh, I wanted the purple one! It may be a little sheer for me, but it’s so pretty in the tube!

That’s what I was thinking! And the nude eye palette works perfectly with that idea.

I got the Cosmic Pink and I think that’s the only one I need. I love it because it brightens my lips but still looks natural as if I just had brighter lips but am wearing a clear gloss.

I wish these weren’t LE because I could totally see Cosmic Pink being something I would keep using/buying for when I want a fresh look. Which is often lol

Ultra Violet! But at $23? Someday… Lol Luckily they aren’t LE! The limited edition items are clearly marked on the website and these are marked as simply “new shades”.
