Buxom True Hue Blush & Buxom Rush Blush Brush Available Now at Sephora

I wanna say that I adored Buxom True Hue Blush…but didn’t quite work out for me.

Anyone try it yet?

I’d love to know what you thought!

Good news both the new Buxom True Hue Blush and the new Buxom Rush Blush Brush are available now at Sephora.com! These were set for a February release but they made a nice, early appearance for Spring.

Buxom True Hue Blush $24
Shades:

  • Breathless (blushing peach)
  • Euphoria (lively coral)
  • Luvitate (shimmering nude)
  • Rendezvous (shimmering raspberry)
  • Seduction (pop pink)
  • Shangri-La-La (toasted berry)
  • Swept Away (peachy nude)
  • Tryst (shimmering clay)

Buxom Rush Blush Brush $24
This brush was specially designed to apply Buxom True Hue Blush. The brush head is domed to hit the apple of cheek. The longer, looser bristles allow for the perfect amount of buildable color.

P.S. I watched 15 minutes of Lost Girl this morning while getting ready for work. Anyone see it? It didn’t bore me so maybe I’ll keep the season pass.

Thoughts?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Lost Girl isn’t too bad. I think it’s a little edgier than SyFy’s other programming. The main girl (Bo) is good, but a little flat when she tries to be quippy. But she has the action chops and acting ability in the more serious sections. Her “sidekick” is pretty cute and handles the comedy and one liners much better. Almost reminds me of Claudia on Warehouse 13.
What I REALLY think, is the male lead is pretty Rooowwr, if you know what I mean. (and I think you will know what mean….;0)

    • the Muse

hey lisa is the lead the cop? I only watched 15 mins so I couldn’t get a feel for it all ;-D She does seem a little flat…I got to the diner scene where they are having milkshakes…but not too, too bad overall, I expected alot worst. Have you been watching the being human remake? That I find really flat but I can’t help but watch it anyway lol!

      • Lisa S.

Yes the male lead is the cop and at first I was like eh, but then I started looking a bit more and heard a luscious trace of accent and that was all she wrote. The other cop (his partner) is ok too, but accents and alpha males get me every time.
Being Human American Style? Couldn’t do it,
the Brit version is just so perfect that I’m not sure that anything could’ve lived up to it (for me anyway)

Yikes…I didn’t know anything about this show (having not seen the tv in ages, stupid skyrim, i can only hope my stuff is recording ok), but the promo isn’t promising. The guys all sound like they’re trying to out “deep voice” Will Arnett. I’ll think about it. :p

    • the Muse

omg will arnett, must say now that you mentioned that he does have a kinda deep sexified voice thing going on doesn’t he! I’m on break from skyrim, was taking over my life ;-D

  • Candee

Despite your review I still feel compelled to try at least one of these. I’ve really been into blushes lately.

    • the Muse

candee you might love ’em! ;-D just b/c I disliked ’em doesn’t mean they won’t rock your world chica! Go for it! Let me know whatcha think?

omg, they have talc in them! I just checked them out at sephora.com. I didn’t think that BE used talc in any of their products. they are really going outside of their mineral makeup roots now adays. I was so looking forward to trying a talc free pressed powder blush 🙁 Their other ones are too messy for me. I guess maybe because its Buxom, its not minerals? EIther way thanks for your post and review on them.
