E.L.F. Studio Lip Balm SPF 15

Balms are trending at the moment and in some cases you might think some of them aren’t even really a traditional balm. For example, Revlon Lip Butters take “balm” to a new level!

If you’re bopping your head to the balm beat this Spring, E.L.F.’s affordable Studio Lip Balm might be your next purchase.

These soothing balms have a hint of tint, an SPF 15, and a moisturizing formula. And let’s not forget the very sweet $3 price tag.

Shades:

  • Plum
  • Rose
  • Pink
  • Peach
  • Nude
  • Clear

They are available now at www.eyeslipsface.com for $3 each.

I’m curious as the Studio Collection is generally very good so I’m hopeful these will prove a nice beauty budget pick.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I likin’ the look of these! Will have to start scouting Target for them to come in… thanks for the heads up! ELF is such a fun cheap thrill! Nice to still have a *cheap* thrill around!

I got the color pink when i ordered from their 50% off cyber monday sale. I love it so much, that one product alone made the whole order worthwhile. It’s so natural looking but it still provides color, it’s beautiful.

I actually got this recently. My first e.l.f purchase along with a few brushes. It broke right out of the packaging at first try- both the plastic and the balm. Then tried the product to see if it was worth repurchasing/ replacing and it made my lips feel numb :), decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. It seems to have good reviews so it’s probably just not for me ( I can’t use Buxom glosses either). Gotta love my lipsurgence.

Elf’s mineral line also makes a tinted lip balm that i have tried and am actually really liking I have the shades blush and berry and they are surprisingly pigmented and are moisturizing with a glossy finish!

I bought the clear one a couple of weeks back and was pretty disappointed. I haven’t reached for it since :[ I felt that it wasn’t moisturizing at all. Maybe it will work out for you though.
