Hey, Napoleon Perdis is Available at Nordstrom!

I just noticed, looks like Nordstrom has brought in Napoleon Perdis.

Interesting developments at Nordies. NYX, Stila Travel Girls at the Rack, and now this…! Hm!

Thoughts?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Sounds like a smart business decision: someone once told me that cosmetics sales go up during recession times bc cosmetics are affordable luxuries. For example, designer lipsticks are more affordable that designer shoes. However, good quality cosmetics does not necessarily have to be high-end–which to me, explains the NYX availability.

It makes sense that Nordstrom would want to expand their availability to best-sellers and quality cosmetics. You can draw in more customers that way and once they’re done shopping for makeup, they will likely start browsing accessories, clothing, shoes, etc. All for free shipping and free returns. Hard to beat.

Which reminds me, I’m due for some makeup stockpiling and maybe a splurge on some shoes. Excuse me while I head over to Nordies. =)

so will it still be @Target too? pricewise, it alwasys seemed like it was more Nordie-esque that Target-ish. never heard much good about any of it so haven’t ever tried it….

np set is different from the master collection he has kim…the at nordstrom is his primary line and np set, sold at target, is his cheaper version of the brand somewhat…:) it was created exclusively for target a few years ago.

Anyone remembers when Napoleon was on HSN? 🙂 That’s where I bought his “crime not to prime” primer … I enjoyed his presentations. Sweet guy.
