NARS Makeup Removing Water Review
Come on out lazy girls! You know you’re out there. Sleeping in your makeup, too lazy when you get home to remove it, for shame! Your mum’s should know what you’ve been up too. Insert waggling finger here.
Goodie for you that cleansing waters are on trend at the moment and everyone and their mother too is introducing one. MAC has one, Sephora, and on the higher end of the playing field, the new NARS Makeup Removing Water. That sounds so pro right? It’s not NARS Cleansing Water its NARS Makeup Removing Water. Posh!
This soap-free, oil-free, and alcohol-free water promises removes face makeup and tones the skin. Thank you NARS for not promising to remove our waterproof mascara. Bless your heart. Nothing is more annoying than a brand of cleansing water that promises to be your end all to removing makeup.
Jump!
As I explained in my MAC Cleansing Water Review these aren’t something you want to embrace for daily use particularly if you’re heavy on the waterproof mascara and eye makeup. However, if you’re so damn tired when you get home and you simply can’t be arsed to follow through on a makeup removal regime that includes at least three products, well, cleansing waters are your new BFF. Simply saturate some facial cotton or a cotton square or ball and swipe it across your face.
The NARS formula is gentle enough to remove facial makeup easily and minor eye makeup and doesn’t strip, dry out, or make skin feel tight or tacky after use. Soothing botanical ingredients hydrate and tone your skin.
I think minimal makeup users can embrace this as a daily cleanser but if you’re wearing a good deal of eye makeup daily this probably will be best suited for super quick clean ups when you’re tired but not for removing all your makeup easily.
And hey kid, you got options here as NARS version is twice as big at $28 compared to MAC’s which is half the size at $23. So don’t feel guilty indulging.
