Philosophy When Hope is Not Enough Omega 3-6-9 Replenishing Serum Review

Philosophy Miracle Worker Moisturizer is one of my skincare gems. Although very rich and very moisturizing I still wanted to add a good solid serum into my nightly regime when using the Miracle Worker so I turned to Philosophy When Hope is Not Enough Omega 3-6-9 Replenishing Serum.

Take a look!

This is a lightweight hydrating serum for dry skin that promises to protect skin against environmental attack while maintaining skin elasticity. I personally purchased it to use in the evening prior to my moisturizer and I feel like it is best suited for this purpose as it is a slippery, hydrating serum which isn’t great for daily use as your skin might appear or look oily/greasy when used in the day. It absorbs easily enough and leaves my skin smooth and hydrated plus it proves a perfect prep for moisturizer. Extra dry skin might see some benefit with AM use but I’d personally leave it to PM use for the best results.

The product is heavily fragrance like When Hope is Not Enough Moisturizer…now not the wet dog one that Hope smells like, don’t worry. It’s a light fresh floral. It could prove too much for sensitive types however I personally find it very pleasant.

The product does contain plant oils that are beneficial to dry skin users as well as omega fatty acids which moisturize skin beautifully.

If you’re already a Miracle user I think that this serum pairs up very nicely with it and adds extra moisture you may need if you have drier or older skin.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Have you tried Lush’s Full of Grace? I can’t remember seeing a review on here (although my memory isn’t the most reliable of things); that serum was instant HG for me.
And it smells like… I don’t know, but I want to eat it.
