Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water

We’re seeing a little action on the cleansing water front this season!

These are pretty popular in the Asia market so it doesn’t surprise me that the Western one is finally seeing more of them.

Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water is a no rinse cleanser with a soap-free formula that includes Hydrosenn+ which is an ingredient supposedly proven to relieved immediate hydration with a lasting effect. Hydrosenn+ plus is supposedly more effective than hyaluronic acid.

They had me at more effective than hyaluronic acid.

If you can’t stomach the price of MAC’s version this one is cheaper at $14 versus and bigger at 5 oz.

I bought it in France back in november 2010 and it does the job of removing my makeup fairly well (other than waterproof stuff and mascara/eyeliner) but lives my face feeling greasy, just like makeup removing wipes.

Love Vichy’s at CVS! $16 for 6.76oz! I got a free mini of the YSL one from Sephora and it was so heavily fragranced it burned terribly!

Anyone know how they compare with Crealine H2O? I have been using that for years and find it very good but have to scrub a little or use separate eye make up remover for waterproof liner.

This has already been released in Europe. I bought a travel size to take with me on vacation and wasn’t really impressed – it’s not bad, it’ll take your makeup off, but it leaves a sticky film and has a smell which becomes annoying after a while. Bioderma’s and Vichy’s are much better. I’ve tried dozens of micellar waters and nothing comes close to Bioderma Sensibio.

Did anyone find these cleansing waters to be really moisturizing or drying? I have such dry skin, im always on the lookout for a better hydrating cleanser. I might have to give this one a try or the Vichy one

I have Bioderma’s and one by Caudalie and think they are great for just taking the day off when i get home from work. Not drying!

I’ve been using the Equate version of Neutrogena’s eye make up remover and it did an ok job. It would remove most of it but there would still be a good amount left over for me to wash off in the morning. I recently got Avon’s eye make remover lotion for 0.99 (they had a nice sale with free shipping for orders over 10 dollars). And you wet the cotton ball then put the lotion on it. It felt really weird because it literally is a lotion but it worked really well and there was just tiny remnants of eyeliner left that was easily washed off the next day. My eyeliner or mascara isn’t waterproof but my eyeliner is gel and is so hard to get off that it pretty much is water/smudge proof.
