Tarte Maracuja Blush & Glow Swatches

Can we have a 101 for proper highlighting techniques? Because I may or may not suck at it! They’ll be cookies at the class. Yay?

I’m no expert at highlighter application but I know what I like and I am liking Tarte Maracuja Blush & Glow.

Jump!

Here’s a few swatches Maracuja Blush & Glow.

(Swatched Above: Moonlight)

(Swatched Above: Sunlight)

(Swatched Above: Candlelight)

This is a two step blush and glow product that delivers a pop of cream blush on cheeks with a dash of hydrating highlighter in a matching radiant shade for extra glow! The formula is infused with Tarte’s maracuja oil which contains a high dose of essential fatty acids and vitamin C plus a boast of hydration!

Review is on the way but aren’t the swatches rather beautiful?

Maybe our class together will aid me in getting the “glow” part of this product down.

Available now exclusively at Sephora and Sephora.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I could buy Candlelight and Moonlight. What is the price point for these? Goodness knows I need ZERO blush, maybe they will be super pricesy and keep me away, LOL.

ohh I like 2-for one products! I might have some TARTE love in my future. Anyhow, I picked up some tips from Christina/Temptalia and from some chic on YouTube that I can’t find a link for now. They both seem to have the highlight thing down to a science. I have a fuller cheeks so for cream/liquid highlighters I either mix with foundation or dot it on top of base (foundation or bb cream usually). The dots go on a line just above where blush goes. Or if I don’t want to highlight cheeks, I will do the dots along the nasal folds down toward my lips. Blend dots with a stippling brush or fingers. I also apply a small dot in the bow of my lips and one where the “11” is. – the spot just above the the space between my brows. (just starting to get those lines) HTH with 101

These remind me of Nars illuminators. Which I really love in the Orgasm shade. Have you tried those muse? If so how do they compare. I like the light orange-y smell the nars one has. And a tiny bit goes a long way.

I have indeed! they aren’t as glittery/shimmer as the nars one I have in orgasm. 🙂

    Ohhhh, PURTY.

I like Moonlight and Candlelight. Sunlight is too frightening for my pale skin.

I take it the highlighter is in the tube and the blush is in the cap? That’s neat.

At first I couldn’t figure out how the heck you were getting two colors out of one tube then I looked and I’m all…ohhhhhhhhhhh.

Also, candelight is where it’s at!
