About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hey Muse, So this is like totally unrelated to this post (sorry!) But I’ve been wondering if you heard of/tried the peau vierge anti aging complex by le mertier de beaute? I’ve been reading about it for the last week and I’m really curious about it. It seems almost like a bb cream, that is had medium coverage, SPF, and a load of skincare benefits, but it’s like pretty expensive so yeah lol.

I haven’t tried it but yeah, seems like a BB Cream….I wince at their prices 🙁 le sigh…so don’t know if is in my future haha…if I were you I’d indulge in a Korean BB Cream and a call it a day. cheaper, same benefits ;D!

Yeah it’s definitely up there price wise 🙁 But for some reason it’s like calling to me lol! I’m thinking of trying to score a sample next time I go to Orlando. Korean Bb creams never seem to work out that great with me, the best one I’ve tried was the gold can skin79 one.

If you are looking for skincare with the melon extract, Serious Skin care on HSN has a line called SuperMel C that has more melon in it.

    Hi Muse,

I was gifted with a set for my birthday and am currently giving a trail run. So far, I really like the anti-aging night cream. When I combine it with Clinique’s Even Better Dark Spot Eraser, it dramatically fades deep acne scars. The face wash, eye cream, and neck cream are nice, but not holy grail products for me. The Antioxidant Day Creme with SPF 20 broke me out the last two times I tried, but I’m willing to give it another try when the weather warms up.

Skin type: Dry combination with few breakouts
    Age: thirty something

    Hope this helps.

thanks gig!!!!!!!!! I’ve been fiddling with the regime myself lately…not sure what I think quite yet but curious if I’ll end up liking/loving it!

hi ! also kind of unrelated to the post above haha, but your comment reminded me of bb creams! hard to believe, but I live in Asia and have never bothered to try a bb cream before, even after all the hype. idk, always seem to prefer tinted moisturizers. but now i feel like smething with a bit more coverage. do you have a good bb cream to recommend? i prefer a dewy finish rather than matte which seems kind of hard to find.
