Bobbi Brown Brightening Finishing Powder Swatches

Here’s a lovely little look at the new Bobbi Brown Brightening Finishing Powder.

Tell me whatcha think!

This lovely little powder can be used all over your skin for a brightening, illuminating glow. I have a review upcoming shortly but just thought I’d post some drool worthy photos and swatches first.

It’s a rather luxe little item as it comes in a mirrored compact with a velvet bag for storage, tres chic!

Available now at BobbiBrown.com

OMG Muse, it is soooo lovely ! I bought powders that promise a nice illuminating glow, like a Dior loose powder and it did nothing ! Why layer powder that you can’t see AT ALL ?! So I stopped using it. Do you think this is a good highlight powder, or it’s too subtle ? It’s difficult to find something that will show up on my face, but still sublte !

Nice presentation but I’ll be interested to hear if the sparkles translate onto the face.

It’s really pretty but I just didn’t know what I’d do with it…I wish it was a blush *le sigh*

So pretty, tad pricey for now, going on a no-buy for March, cosmetics that is, ren faires and Universal Studios are game though!

I tried the no buy thing.. and well.. BOOOOOOO!

I am trying to do the buy only 3 things (idea from beauty reductionista’s blog) and started on 02/1.. I bought my 3 and then some. Acck I am hopeless!

I am curious to see this shimmer thing from Bobbi in person. I am hoping I have some sort of dupe already.

BTW, rumor has it Bobbi’s QVC TSV will be in june! Hopefully she will do something fantab and not “I already have those colors” collection!

dear sis, you think it’s comparable to guerlain meteorites? it does look lovely but not sure if i need something that’s similar to guerlain. am so trying to limit myself in buying stuff!

by the way, is this limited edition? please tell me it isn’t!

I want to buy that and use it as an eyeshadow palette when I travel this summer!

I let the SA try it on me in the store (on one side of my face only), the salesperson said it looked”great” on me, but Im not convinced as I could not tell the difference between the two sides of my face. If fact, I walked away without even applying it to the other side of my face. It is not shimmery. And I read somewhere that there is a warning on the package about its fragility.

I can’t wait for your review, Ms. Muse! I was at Nords the other day and the MUA put it on me: wow, it really brightened me up! It made my skin look better and more even, but not actually shimmery. It’s definitely not a Shimmer Brick or even Shimmer Brick-esque; I guess you would use it just how you’d use regular pressed powder or Guerlain Meteorites. I probably would have bought it on the spot, but they were out of stock and ordering it isn’t as much fun. Also, I was already getting the Rose Gold SB, a new Pot Rouge in Rose (gorgeous), and lipgloss. Muse, can you recommend a big, fluffy brush that would be good with this powder? I like brushes that are very soft and fluffy so they don’t pick up as much powder as the denser ones. So, for example, the Sephora bronzer brush is not what I’m looking for. Thanks!

hey lauren so sorry about the delayed reply. I’ve long since reviewed lol! aw awesome happy to hear! did you eventual purchase? I really loved it, quite different from her normal sb round! I didn’t know about the new shade! Must go have a peek! it cosmetics makes an incredibly soft and fluffy brush that’s perfect for powder, seriously great brush!
