Bobbi Brown Rose Gold Rich Color Gloss Review & Swatches
Loving the new Rich Color Gloss shades released with Bobbi’s new Rose Gold Collection.
Deets on your haul? Did you grab anything from the collection?
I’m already over it and hungry for Bobbi’s next release. Fan girl excitement.
Bobbi released four shades of Rich Color Goloss with her new Rose Gold Spring 2012 Collection.
Bobbi’s Rich Color Glosses are a nice treat from sheerer glosses as they offer the full color pay off of a lipstick and still have a lovely shine of a gloss plus they wear as strong as MAC Lipglass for me.
They are sticky and pretty tacky and thick but I find glosses like this have great wear time and indeed you’ll notice they stick around for four to five hours.
The only shade I didn’t love out of these was Pink Cocoa. This is a warm melted beige-y chocolate, it’s a little difficult for me to pull off as it comes across walking dead girl on my lips.
Outside of this the other shades are delightful dusky shades of peach and rose that are stunning for Spring looks.
Angel Pink is a pretty coral-ish pink, Pink Gold is an NARS Orgasm-like iridescent peachy pink but beware with this one as it comes across a tad too frosty but you can add a little clear gloss on top for a smoother finish, and finally Pink Sorbet, this is a soft dusky pink.
(Swatched Left to Right: Pink Cocoa, Pink Gold, Pink Sorbet, and Angel Pink)
(Pink Cocoa)
(Pink Gold)
(Pink Sorbet)
(Angel Pink)
A majority of the finishes here are creams so I add a little gloss on top to make them more wearable since creams tend to look rather bad on my lips. The clear gloss eases the color and gives it a smoother more flattering finish in my opinion.
These are some nice shades for Spring so if you can wear colors like this you might want to stop by your local counter for a peek. At least one or two will probably delight you!
