BRTC Multi-Vital 10 System Vitalizer Mask Review

BRTC is a Korean brand you may recognize. It’s not sold within the US but their BB Creams have a rather huge cult following around the Internet.

BRTC also excels at creating some very good skincare. Some of the products in the line are HG (holy grail) material for me.

I indulged in their sheet mask collection quite a while ago when they originally introduced the Vitalizer line. I was quite excited about these masks and they promised quite a good deal of great ingredients.

Let’s take a look!

These are sold in five pack boxs and feature the typical Asian style sheet mask. It’s basically a fiber cotton mask saturated with essence that you apply on your face and leave on for 10-30 minutes.

BRTC Multi-Vital 10 System Vitalizer Mask contains vitamin B3, B5, C, E, H, hyaluronic acid, rose water, and collagen. The mask promises to remove dullness, whiten skin, and moisturize it.

Vitamin C can’t technically be absorbed into the skin so when they listed it as the “whitening” agent I was rightfully skeptical as I was pretty disappointed with this as a method of improving dullness and whitening/brightening my skin sadly.

I was hopeful the hyaluronic acid in the mix would make up for the lack of whitening abilities but sadly this too didn’t seem to take any effect.

I found the mask comfortable enough with a good wear on my face, it fit the contours and shape of my face perfectly. However, after use my skin felt incredibly sticky and tacky to the point that I wanted to wash my face after use. I refrained as I had hopes that I’d see the best results if I left the essence to absorb. Upon absorption the mask still left my face feeling really sticky. If you’ve ever tried Hadalabo Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion this mask produces a similar experience in the fact that if you press your hands against your face you’ll notice the skin of your face will literally stick to the palms of your hands.

It’s rather odd.

I put alot of trust into BRTC products and have always been generally pleased with items I’ve purchased from them but this mask was a sore disappointment. I didn’t see any difference in my skin after using an entire box over the course of a 30 days period or so plus my skin felt uncomfortable after use.

No likey!

Has anyone tried these before?

Every time I see K-dramas, I see the ladies use these types of masks. Was always curious about them. Sorry this didn’t work out of you. I’ve never tried these types of masks but want to pick up one from my local, “The Face Shop.” Have you tried BRTCs BB creams?

Oh no! 🙁 I’ve been meaning to try this mask because the claims of vitamin c are just really tempting…too bad it doesn’t work well. Thanks for the warning!

I haven’t tried the mask – sorry it was such a big disappointment. I’m curious to try their BB creams though. Have you tried them? Which one would you recommend?

Do you order Korean skincare online mainly, or do you know of anywhere in NYC where I could purchase any? 🙂
