CK One Color Cosmetic Collection

You might remember it, you might not, but Calvin Klein had a cosmetic collection available at Sephora, not so long ago. Which means you might be terribly excited when I tell you that the CK One Color Cosmetic Collection will be launching shortly and is a full line up of over 130 products that all capture the spirit and core of the CK One brand.

Take a look!

Today Calvin Klein, Inc. unveiled the a worldwide advertising campaign introducing CK One Color Cosmetics, a full line-up of over 130 products.

The advertising portrays real, natural beauty through a diverse cast of women and men that embody the brands legacy of individuality. The ck one color cosmetics campaign will debut worldwide beginning in March 2012.

“CK One has maintained its status as an iconic global brand since it first launched in 1994,” said Catherine Walsh, Senior Vice President of American Fragrances, Coty Prestige. “With the introduction of ck one color cosmetics we go beyond fragrance, addressing the consumers desire to define their individuality. The new campaign, combined with innovative products, continues the ck one legacy of authenticity and accessibility by connecting consumers with the brand in a modern and vibrant way.”

“With its fragrance roots, expanding into a color cosmetics line was a natural progression for the ck one brand,” said Tom Murry, President & Chief Executive Officer, Calvin Klein, Inc. “This latest extension embodies the energy and free spirit of ck one, offering fresh and unique beauty products that are ideal for todays youthful, independent consumer.”

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ok, Cal… it’s time to give it up. This is the 3rd time you’ve done a makeup line, and each time, it’s gotten worse. STOP. NOW. If you won’t give enough thought to a line to make it appealing, or at least give it enough time to try and make a go of it, then stop.

Just my 2 worth – his first incarnation was lovely… predates most of you who post here, but I remember it very well! 😀 Geezer that I am..

I thought CK had done a make up line before-I always see bits and pieces make their way to Winners here in Canada

Bummed that his last launch didn’t go well because I adored some of the colors in it.
LOL! Kimkats, I remember his first incarnation too.

I thought it was well thought out – had something like 6 or 7 color families…. in the cool red faux lacquer packaging! Wish he’d bring that stuff back – it was nice!

The glossy eye color certainly caught my eye. And I’m liking that it seems that paler and darker skins will be represented in their collection 🙂

I’m interested. Don’t know how interested, but I do know that CK dresses tend to make my ass look better than anything else.

CK had a fabulous makeup line in the 80s, lots of neutrals but really was ahead of it’s time. Look forward to checking out that red lipstick.
