Clarins Colour Breeze Spring 2012 Joli Rouge Lipsticks Pink Coral Poppy Red Review & Swatches
I’m tad nutty, we’ve established that. So it isn’t any great surprise I start speaking to myself like a pirate whenever I head to the Clarins counter and see Joli Rouge Lipsticks.
I dunno, it just sounds so pirate-y! Me ships name be the Joli Rouge, aye! She’s a little beauty! Wait, I sound like Steve Irwin now.
Better stick to lipsticks.
Joli Rouge are one of my favorite lipsticks. I have more of these in my stash than any other brand of lipstick. They are incredibly glossy, have a beautiful wear, and add just the right color to lips. Honestly, collect them all, you won’t be disappointed.
For Spring 2012, Clarins has introduced four limited edition shades of Joli Rouge Lipstick and Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick.
Joli Rouge Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick has a sheer touch of color with a glossy finish and a moisturizing feel. The gloss factor is incredible on these lipstick as they really give lips a super shiny finish. The sheerer tint of color is a flattering lip look for Spring and Clarins released a perfect Spring shade with their Pink Coral color. This is a soft, nude shade of peachy coral. I love it. I’m wearing it in my recent Lunasol Review if you’d like to steal a peek. The color is fabulously natural looking on my lips without looking over done or being so nude that it gives me a zombie appearance.
Joli Rouge brings out the big guns with a super pigmented lipstick that adds incredible shine as well as color to lips. It keeps lips hydrated and delivers truly rich color in the process with a lightweight feel. Poppy Red is a limited edition shade for Spring which is a bright shade of red.
I’ve reviewed both of these lipsticks in past posts and you can have a look back at them by clicking here.
Poppy Red wasn’t a great color for me but I absolutely adored Pink Coral, do check it out at your local counter, I think you’ll love it as much as I do.
Even if you don’t indulge in these shades the Joli Rouge Lipstick Collection is worth exploring, they are some of the nicest lipsticks I own. Be ware if you’re sensitive, they have a fruity floral taste that’s very pleasant but might prove a bit much if you’re sensitive.
Loves these!
