Lipstick Queen Jean Queen Lipstick Review & Swatches

My Lips But Better or commonly referred to as MLBB in the beauty community is a term coined for a shade of lipstick or gloss that’s comparable to that of your natural lip color only enhanced. A shade that gives your pout that perfect natural color that looks like your real lip color only way better.

MLBB shades are a rarity in my opinion. They aren’t something you run across daily and you may have to go through dozens of lipsticks and glosses to run across a single shade of MLBB. I’ve tried plenty of shades of lipstick and tons of gloss and can only give the coveted MLBB title to a very, very few shades in my stash.

If anyone deserves the title of the perfect shade of MLBB it would have to go to Lipstick Queen Jean Queen Lipstick. I recently told you the tale of Lipstick Queen Jean Queen Lipgloss, now let me tell you one about the lipstick.

This delectable shade of pink is a guaranteed universal friendly shade of natural pink that anyone can indulge in and come out of looking fresh, natural, and oh so gorgeous.

This lovely rosy pink shade has a moist, hydrating formula that has a shiny finish and a texture that feels just like melted butter as it glides onto lips. The formula has plenty to rave about as it isn’t everyday you run across such a lightweight, shiny lipstick that feels like a lighter gloss but most definitely has the coverage of a lipstick. The lipstick leaves your pout with a wet, plump look.

What’s to say?

It is the ideal MLBB lip color with an incredibly formula.

Delightful and an absolute must have in every girl’s beauty arsenal.

I wish this stuff was easier to get…I’m too lazy to order from individual companys websites lol

    • 2/28/12 22:27 Jane:

SpaceNK at Bloomingdales sometimes has it!

  • 2/28/12 18:05 Chels:

Why are they selling Laura Mercier stuff on their site??? Straaange world we live in.

    • 2/28/12 18:07 Chels:

Oh, it’s not actually THEIR store. They link to a third party seller.

  • 2/28/12 21:02 Mandi:

I, too, am too lazy for ordering this stuff. It IS pretty though, and it looks so glossy.

  • 2/28/12 23:11 breyerchic04:

That’s so pretty. How would you compare it to the Poppy King for boots lipsticks, in formula and shade (the rose and pink might be close?).

    • 2/29/12 9:16 the Muse:

shiner, more moisturizing, easier glide, less balm-like breyer :)

      • 2/29/12 13:50 breyerchic04:

So basically this really is worth twice as much.

  • 2/29/12 4:49 aquahartz:

These 2 lippies really are amazing! I bought the lipstick and gloss a while ago when you did the review for the gloss, and I’m so glad you did lol these are seriously HG worthy! And literally anyone can wear these, I mean even me, as a guy who doesn’t really go around wearing lipstick, can wear this easily lol. Formula is fantastic and gives the perfect color.

    • 2/29/12 10:56 the Muse:
